Crown Melbourne Part 4

One annoying change from the old system: the base level membership before (Bronze) would let you park in the underground car park except during busy periods, such as weekends and public holidays. The equivalent level now, "Member Tier", only lets you park at the multi-level.

Silver Tier = 5 "status credits" which lasts 6 months. Membership periods are (1/04 to 30/09) and (1/10 to 31/03).

1 Status Credit = 500 Casino & CrownBet Points
1 Status Credit = 1500 Lifestyle Points - (restaurants, retail outlets and hotels)

Really annoying to be honest, I play any stakes from 1/2 to 5/5 and I don't get anything for it!
I have to park on the other side of the casino!
Why poker players don't get rewarded when getting charged 15% at times is ridiculous!

Another change with the new Rewards system. With a Silver Signature Club card, you always got free parking, but with Silver Rewards card, you need to get your card validated each time.

| Free parking | Underground parking
\ Signature - Bronze level |requires validation*|available+
\ Rewards - Member level |requires validation*| not available
| Free parking | Underground parking
\ Signature - Silver level |does not requires validation|available+
\ Rewards - Silver level | requires validation* |available+
* I believe that validation includes betting $1 on CrownBet on the day.
+ subject to availability

I very much doubt the 2018 AM will have a 250k. The 100k will probably remain but numbers are dropping each year.

If anyone was watching the ME final table, I have no idea why Jeff called. Goes to show you can play for hours, for days, and * it all up with one bad decision.

Hand from 1/3 this morning. Game was playing aggressive at times, I get Q:spades:Q:clubs: UTG and limp. UTG+1 calls, MP calls, SB calls, BB checks. Well that didn't go to plan. Flop Q32r. I bet 10 into a pot of 15. UTG+1 min-raises, the others fold.

I've played with this guy a few times, we'd been having a few laughs. I asked him "Why?" I decided to take a chance, I felt he may have flopped a set himself. "* it, I'm all-in!" for 270 effective, I cover him. He's shocked as he should be, and he asks me "Did you flop a set?" He can't fold it and and he calls with 32o. I hold LOL. :D (some ppl limp too much and play too many hands)

His mate had come over earlier, relayed a 2/5 hand. He has AA, flop A99, he check calls. Turn 9 goes check check. River 9. King high good for a split :p

I don't understand Rossiter's thinking here. He's the best player left and Hausen is in absolute desperate territory especially with the blinds going up and his BB coming up. Pay jump was 180k and then a further 380k if he managed he get heads-up. Would you decide the gamble is worth it? Did he feel he was playing for 3rd and was willing to flip for the 180k pay jump? Call and get lucky and maybe have a chance of getting heads-up? I like that he took his time and you have to factor everything in but I would never call here.

Hausen (BTN) is 4th and has 1,470,000 (12 BBs, M=5.7), Rossiter (UTG) is 3rd and has 3,205,000 (27 BBs, M=12.3).

It was the last hand of the level. If Rossiter folds to Vijay's shove:

HAND 138 - Rossiter (BB) with 2,785,000 (17 BBs, M=8.7), Hausen (UTG) with 1,450,000 (9 BBs, M=4.5)

HAND 139 - Rossiter (SB) with 2,685,000 (17 BBs, M=8.4), Hausen (BB) with 1,270,000 (8 BBs, M=4.0)

Agree that should be a fold since I highly doubt Vijay is shoving with anything less than bigger pair or overs.

So at best he is flipping

Heading over to see a couple of games in late July and as I'll be traveling alone will head to Crown fri, sat and sun nights.
Thinking I'll play $1/3 PLO Friday, $1/3 NLH Sat and see how I feel Sunday,
What's the games like then?
Was thinking Saturday night to have a big of a nap then head down around 111pm, more free money from loose drunks?

Very loose preflop & expect to be called by a lot of draws on 1/3 No Limit post flop. Plenty of pub poker players that act entitled to.
