I'm currently on the $62/month Foxtel HD sports package.

I see now they're streaming AFL live via Foxtel Now.

Anyone tried it?

I'm gonna grab the free 2 week trial and see how it compares.

I'm skeptical that it will be as crisp as Foxtel HD.

I tried to sign up for the trial and they refused because I already have a Foxtel account.

So I can't try it to see if I want to switch.

No, it's a seperate thing. Looks like you can use it on PC, Mac and things like apple tv and chromecast.

Seems like I can't get it cos I already have Foxtel. Seems a bit dumb.

They say resolution is 720p or 1080p depending on what you can download. They also reckon the framerate is perfect. Whatever that means...assuming standard TV 24FPS?

Had to cancel my Foxtel to try Foxtel Now. Ridiculous!

Now I can't get in to either.

Seems that the Foxtel website doesn't work with Firefox, so I had to install Chrome.

Got this yesterday. Set up was easy, just fill out the online form, usual questions. I got the doco pack + Sport. I don't know why they're still forcing you to get a base pack....

Works well, either on the PC or streaming to the TV.
