Got up to Native Fortress yesterday and rage quit to play Crash 3. Then went back to Crash 1 and got all the way past The High Road last night.

I stand by my assessment that Crash 1 doesn't hold up as well compared to Crash 2/3. It's still fun though.

Load times aside, this remaster is as good as it possibly could have been.

It really kills me that when you're jumping if you let go of the directional button, instead of continuing your jump you just fall straight down. Killing me trying to get used to it again.

They are bright but not like you describe, sounds like you need to turn some of the picture settings on your TV down

finally beat slippery climb, cost me like 20 lives. and f**k whoever decided that needed to have a colored gem. No way im doing that without dying.

Took me about 20 lives as well. That run to the first checkpoint can die in a horrible fire.

I've never adjusted those settings for anything, Samsung tv. The apples in particular have a neon glow

Temple ruins is doing my head in trying to get the platinum, I keep failing at the same spot and I reckon I've had 60 goes now.

I'm thinking this too, but I'm up to sunset vista. Levels getting harder and harder, and more rage inducing.

Persisted with Crash 1. Currently have 70% on the save file, 4 of the 6 coloured gems. I've conceded i wont get the platinum but i can at least 100% it.

Rotating between this and RE7 at the moment. One tense, horrifying, nightmare inducing experience and Resident Evil.

Gave up on Crash 1 and start Crash 2, up to World 3.

I hate Un-Bearable, partly because I keep messing up but mainly because that stupid bear laughs at me every time I die.

Had so much rage towards that bear I just turned it off.

Finished at 86%, gem cleanup time. Time trial relics can go die in Native Fortress.

Just spent over a ******* hour trying to finish the time trial for road to nowhere and I still couldn't ******* do it. Controller breaking stuff.

I'm using Crash 3 as the buffer. Once Crash 1 has me ready to break the controller, I just switch to Crash 3 for half an hour.... * this game was never so hard.
