Match committee will be interesting next week with Tabs kicking 11 in two WAFL games, McCarthy coming back from suspension and let's assume Kersten kicks two or threee tomorrow.

Yep, Kersten would want to have a good game tomorrow that's for sure.

Everyone is well aware that Taberner has the body and skill to do well at AFL level. His issue has never been about that, it's always been about what's going on between his ears. Just seems to struggle with concentration and desire to compete hard.
If u could bottle confidence u would get steven dank to inject him before every game and then he would tear the game apart. Either that or a tiger blood transfusion every preseason and he would absolutely kill it.

He might do better than Suban. Maybe Tucker, although I wouldn't be messing with Tucker's development. We found room for Walters in the middle and look how that worked out. We moved Mundy into the forward line early in the year with great results. Experimentation can be great sometimes.
Every one of the players you named is a good-excellent user if the ball. Sutcliffe is a burden with the ball in hand. Getting a few touches and the odd goal at WAFL level doesn't change the fact that he is an absolute liability at AFL level.

There's more to footy than some 0's and 1's on the stat sheet, which is what the vast majority of peanuts here don't aknowledge, which is why Sutcliffe, Sheridan, Spurr, Tabs etc still get talked up despite being utter garbage to anyone with a clue.

Id disagree that it is more mental than physical as I actually think it is the opposite. Taberner doesn't have explosiveness on the lead. That is actually the major reason he doesn't get away from his man and take easy marks. His contested marks are inflated (as a percentage of overall marks compared to most players) because he struggles to get separation from his man so he is nearly alway in contested situations. At WAFL level he can outwork his man like Nick Riewolt does at AFL level, but AFL key defenders have greater aerobic capacity so he can't do the same at AFL level. He also lacks an explosive leap to break open packs.

That said I still think he has the potential to be decent and his last two games should result in his selection next week even with McCarthy coming back.

Tabs seemed to get annoyed in a ruck contest half way through the second and got fired up.
Started throwing himself around a bit and got the results.
Has always been a solid kick.
Bennell's a Roller all right, just warming to the task.
Was getting plenty of massage work done to those calves when he came to the bench.

How did bennell look after the game? Looking ok

Bennell is a level above WAFL. He played FF all day. Tabs was impressive today but EP had nobody who could play on him. He won't have it as easy playing for Freo.

Watson can serious play but some of his kicking today was perplexing e.g. He Torpedoed the ball into the 50 in the last straight to Collins.

Lamb looks lost at EP. IMO WCE need to play him somewhere else.

He wasn't even blowing hard when he came to the bench.
Played full forward and wasn't tearing around the joint.
I imagine they told him how many minutes,k's and how much to extend himself.
At one point he ignored the runner trying to get him off for a rest.
Couple of times he probably went at above 80% pacewise.
Looks seriously rapid, but just cruising today.
As Righteo said the sole job was to come out unscathed.
