Seriously, both teams have slithered along the bottom long enough. You have cracking kids in your spine as I feel we have. You have a great coach as I think we have. That's the start of premierships. This result is not really that important.

Looking forward to the next 5 years. I reckon we will rise together so there will be plenty of battles coming between us. Curnow and SPS .... Hipwood and McLuggage. Weitering and Marchbank.....Andrews and McStay...... McKay.... Schacke .....

I was on the flight home with the boys last night. Bolts was standing up speaking to Murphy and Gibbs. Bolts was watching a replay of the game for majority of the flight. They all seemed really flat. Said congrats to Harry on a great first game. He was limping pretty badly, I don't expect him to get up for the Geelong game.

Big statement from Dermie, but he said the same thing about Juddy in his first year many years ago., and also about Pendlebury. Has a good record at picking ace players, our Dermie. Did Doc play on the weekend?
He was never really suited to living up North- not enough Ticker, you got him for a bargain though no doubt.
I think Robbo may struggle to make his way back into the side next year due to his poor disposal- plenty of heart though.

One draft! Thats probably more than the previous 5 drafts combined.
