First episode was good, a bit of 'it follows' with the saint of killers just wandering after them

Loved them talking to the lady and watching Cass fight the bouncer on the screen behind them, imo this is better than any of the netflix comicbook stuff
 
Caught up with this over the last week. Surprisingly addictive television that is joyous in how little *s it gives. A lot of behind-the-camera crossovers with Breaking Bad too which I think explains the aesthetic appeal. Reminds me a lot of Utopia, and to an extent, shows like Legion and American Gods from earlier this year. Pretty good time for comic-book TV (makes me weep a little for The Walking Dead which looks so flat in comparison).

Yeah I haven't watched ep 3 yet, but the second one was fantastic. I particularly liked the way the angel responded to genesis ordering him to "find peace". And of course, watching them both play soccer with giant blow up balls while completely off their faces was very enjoyable!

I'm not 100% sure he did, I think he was questioning him about something else and Cass thought he figured it out

Wifey picked that it was the soul being extracted (well 15% of), couldn't believe it. So good though, love the idea of a japanese corporate muscling in on family-run voodoo shops. Happy Soul Go Go, lol :D

Tipping thats not the last we see of the saint. Boy he's gonna be pissed when he gets out.

Surely losing 15% of your soul can't be good for you, what did they get paid 50k? The rich bloke paid them 2.7mil for it

When he was first shown in his office a few eps back he had a bunch of folders on his desk, the top one was labelled 'pig' (2nd from top was Jessie Custer), at least we know what that was about now.

And wow the Grail even got to Stephen Hawking, are you a scientist? Then shut up lol

Same, the rant about the parking was good as well.

They really need to get a move on with the jessie looking for god stuff, either find god or move on. They have mentioned his family a few times now and there is still an angry saint waiting for him, also needs more arseface and hitler.
