I posted this on the Crows forums after last weeks game. Noticed Adelaide had 10 scoring shots in every quarter... 1-9, 4-6, 7-3, 6-4. Wouldn't be too many games where that would have occurred. Are there any other unusual occurrences. Another was Sydney vs Geelong - scoreline exactly the same as the 2015 GF score.

1992 eagkes won flag beat north 14.26 they kicked. Kicked 14.24 year they won flag In 2006. Not far off

Heard today actually the Blues beat the Tigers in a grand final despite Richmond having 40 shots on goal and scoring 150 odd. Can you imagine that these days lol

Nobody dropping a loose man back. Incredible. The scoring was frenetic.

We lost 233 to 42 a few years back
That scoreline was unusually depressing even though depressing scorelines have not been that unusual for Melbourne fans :'(

there was a game back in the day where Collingwood played North and the quarter scores were like this
Collingwood 3 3 21 North 2 2 14
Collingwood 6 6 42 North 4 4 28
Collingwood 9 9 63 North 6 6 42
Collingwood 12 12 84 North 8 8 56

this is from when i read some football book when i was a kid please dont shoot me if its wrong!

actually tigers had 30 goals+ kicked on them in two consecutive seasons. 2006 vs the swans, and 2007 vs us.

In 2006 I knew the campaigners were going to knock off the crows the next week and they did. Crows were top at the time, or maybe 2nd behind wce. Lose by 20 goals one week to the then reigning prems , beat a top side the next.

Richmond.

2006 vs swans - 28.12 to 9.8. Wasn't the 30 like I thought but close and a walloping loss by over 100 and they kicked 9 goals like they did the next year.

2007 Cats 35.12 to tigers 9.11. 206 to 2.7 at half time.

It was like 180 to 150 or something. Defenders may as well had a seat on the bench

Their defenders at any rate. We kicked 9 goals in our semi loss to them. Nicholls determined we had to outscore them and loaded our forward line instead of playing everyone in their regular positions. Tactical victory right there.

Jezza kicked 7, Nick and Walls 6 each. Meanwhile Southby and Doull held up pretty well in our key posts and Richmond had to find other ways to score.

eagles 1992, R-18 at Moorabin in the mud and wet

3.11 vs saints 15.5

r-23 at the western Oval

3.5 to doggies 7.11

goaless for first 3 qtrs., 0.0 in the first, 0.2 in the 2nd, o.0 in the 3rd. Kicked a goal on the siren too so they didn't get their worst ever score which was 1.12 vs the dons in 1989. Thank Scotty Watters for that.

1977 - hawthorn 25.41 191 defeated st kilda 16.7.103

Would have been interesting if they kicked straight

In 1985 Hawthorn 11.31 97 defeated melbourne 12.9.81. Michael Byrne kicked 0.8

Buddy kicked 2.11 back in 2007. Kicked 1.7 a couple of times. And managed 0.6 this year.

This one was unusual:
5.7 (37) 11.13 (79) 18.17 (125) 24.19 (163)
2.2 (14) 4.3 (27) 5.5 (35) 6.8 (44)

In the WAFL the other week

First quarter
West Perth 0.3-3
Peel 5.0-30

Second Quarter
West Perth 0-8-8
Peel 8-0-42

Third quarter
West perth 2-12-24
Peel 11.0-66

Final quarter
West Perth -9.15-69
Peel-16.3-99

Didn't actually watch the game, but to be pretty close in shots at goal all game (4 rushed behinds) and be done by 30 odd points is weird

Not sure what's weirder, Scoreline or Tabiner kicking 6 goals
