Sounds flaky but a Collingwood poster on their board said he heard Matthew Boyd saying that Kelly is coming to Carlton to people he was on a train with.
Says he heard that it had something our president did that sealed the deal...maybe organising the rumoured Judd convo with Kelly or some sort of third party agreement?

Obviously not the most reliable source, but can't see any reason a Collingwood poster would lie about a Carlton trade on their own board.

Multiple posters from different teams have posted they've heard Kelly to Carlton in the Josh Kelly D&T thread too which is a good sign.

There's been a lot of talk re: Gibbs going/staying.

I've watched the hawthorn replay a few time now and each time I watch the post-game interview of Murph and Gibbs I'm struck by the way Gibbs stated that "me and Murph have played them 11 times and haven't beaten them in my career; Blues career so far."

Why would a player who was committed to staying at Carlton delineate in such a fashion?

I think the move to Adelaide is still definitely on the cards.

He says "...in my career; Murph's career so far."

Did anyone catch what Stevo was talking about on Game Day? I walked in to hear him saying something about us locking Bolts away for 3 years, to avoid him being poached by other clubs??

Given that Trigg and Bolton have said they're not into fixed term contracts and Bolts will stay as long as it pleases both parties,
Stevens is full of it.

If a club offers Bolton $1 million a year to coach them he would be mad not to take it. By locking him away on a more secure type contract rather than a salary it gives us some security too.

And if another club came with an offer, Bolton would certainly put his hand out for a raise.

But he was asked recently about speculation and replied that he'd signed on for a "journey" and is committed to see us rise up the ladder. So why would he jump ship just because, say, Eddie decided to sack Nathan?

If the club aren't worried and Bolton is happy, don't fear the gossip.
