I didn't mention Martin once. And my knickers aren't in a twist- we have him after all. But let's leave it there that's done and dusted.

I'm just talking some footy about a player on our list that this thread is showing interest in. No space for us on our list - don't get me wrong good player but just a bit slow and gets done on defensive transition a bit. You might not get him in the PSD. Not sure he fills a need for North TBH. He'd suit a team short on inside mids.

What has Motlop done since signing his last contract, apart from turning up to training 20kgs over weight, to warrant any sort of interest from anyone? He's been awful.

And you don't have to be a rocket surgeon to know Ablett is only going to one club.

If we want him we get him for nothing but money.

It's why we would be into him.

When fit he's got speed and polish on the outside. He is flakey as f*** though. We would get him for free and so I see the appeal.

Waite should not be offered a new contract. Spitta traded if we can get something good for him. Otherwise offer 1 year. In fact I think if we don't land JK all our 28 year olds and over should try to be traded. It's not like with them in the side we are gonna push for the 8. We need good draft picks and I would rather keep blooding kids and new young talent we bring in.

We need to think long term perhaps another season dwelling bottom table will get the talent into the side to be pushing in 2-3 years time.

People are forgetting that Swallow played alright because he played the only position he can play......inside grunt.
My opinion is that the club want to free themselves of Swallow, Geelong wants Gaz for say 2 yrs and they want to offload Motlop.We get him as a boobie prize.

Mate its only my opinion........Swallow you say is value ?? ok , but not at our club. They wanted to see how Dumont went playing his role, he did ok but that didnt help having an ex captain running around the 2's did it??
Club had to whack Swallow, see Dumont play the role, then bring him back to play him where he plays best so we can offload him, this October.

I did realise that and my post suggested we should entertain trades, if they are of considerable value to us, not suggesting we trade guys out for bullshit picks and no value.
If someone offers us a first round pick for Tarrant. Would you not entertain this? I wouldn't take anything that wouldn't bring us value.
Further more I guess all this depends on whether we land JK or not. Land him then Tarrant is 100% untouchable.
