ODN I would think having some sort of metaphorical ownership is implied in a marriage contract. Otherwise what does marriage mean? Oh yeah I forgot 60%+ of marriages end in divorce these days , so it obviously doesnt mean much. What are we going to vote on again?

TBH not sure why we are interested . Getting sick and tired of us continually bringing in small framed players into our club . Will be hugely disappointed if we end up taking players such as Lang on top of Smedts last year and dont land a Kennedy type to add to a depleted inside presence .

At his peak, Lang is a balanced midfielder who can run all day, has good acceleration, agility and kicking.

Trained the house down this pre-season but couldn't translate that to consistent senior performances. As you say, size is the concern with him in close, but you can play him on either flank or the wing and he has no issues, as well as being handy around the stoppage.

Geelong's structure at either end and the persistence with Motlop has kept him out of the team and he has stagnated.

Lang turned us down because he believed he had a spot on the fringe of Geelong's team at the age of 21, but outside looking in you couldn't see Scott making those kinds of changes, and sure enough he threw the baby out with the bathwater mid-season.

We also may have a name for the contracted GWS midefielder that B70 was referring to as Barrett mentioned that despite whitfield being contracted for next year, GWS have a tight cap and he is the one that could be sacrificed to fit others in.

Moving on Whitfield is the right call for GWS. He might run all day and use the ball well, but he doesn't escape.

When you have the midfield riches they have, you don't need to carry a finisher like him.
