Team brings no pressure - They run free and win by 10 goals.

Exactly. I do back Richmond at the MCG to make the Grand Final, but we need to bring the heat and pressure like we did against Geelong if we want to make the Grand Final.

if we had the slow gameplan from last year still i think all the byes would be s**t for us but cos we have a high pressure gameplan it can only be good

we will be able to apply even more pressure all rested up

Never been under that illusion myself. Both GWS and West Coast are decent sides. Both can be very very good on their day and as far as we know their day could be the day one of them plays us at the G next Saturday.

That's only an issue when the MCG is full, when the crowd is only a little bit higher than Kardinia it doesn't bother them because the noise level is about the same.

Yep, what I am thinking too. After both of our byes this year, we started off well (against Sydney and Geelong). We did not continue against Sydney but whatever preparation we did against Geelong worked, allowing us to finish off the game.

Like you said, our gameplan a couple of years ago would probably not stand up after a bye

Good. F**k 'em. I'm glad they lost. It was a mirror image of last year's Geelong vs Sydney final. Geelong brought pressure and Sydney feel apart. September specialists my arse.
