Who do I cheer for?

This will be a troubling gf for me. Crows winning is awful, but shit, I can't imagine if the tigers win.

I can remember as a little kid the 1980 grand final had no appeal to me to sit down and watch live on tv as I did not care whom won as neither was going to add any joy for me. I went to my primary school fete for the day. Think I came home late in last quarter and saw KB kick his final goal but missed nothing as it was a blow out game.


Least Eddie is playing next week. I will look for some joy in it for him if his side wins but it could will be the second grand final in my life I do not bother with as cannot get excited for either team.

Cotchin's in a fair bit of trouble. I didn't see it live, but I've seen a replay now. Goes in low, shoulder first, had time to decide to go the bump as he knew he was second to the ball, got Shiel in the head and kept him from playing the game out. Can't argue he was going for the ball either:



Shows clearly only one player going for the ball, with Cotchin waiting with his shoulder braced.

Two fines going into the match; he'd have to be found completely without fault, which would be utter bullshit.
