im getting rly scare that nick suburban is not going to be playing with us next year
Are you telling me someone out there is prepared to pay him money to play for them? Yesterday's GF was a time for Suban, Sutcliffe and Sheridan to really shine and demonstrate they wanted to part of the Dockers moving forward but were passengers for the day.

Nyhuis has demonstrated he is a better version of Lee spurr as a lock- down on dangerous small forwards and has owned Liam Ryan twice now in two GFs. Needs to be promoted to main list along with Grey. Duman and Strnadica stay for at least another year on rookie list Ubergang depends on medical mite get one more yr on rookie list. Deluca to be cut. 3 vacancies on the rookie list - Injury prone Apeness should be put on Rookie list
to see if he can get thru a yr without injury he currently a list clogger also might even consider putting A.Pearce on Rookie list after missing nearly two yrs with broken leg?

Hearing that Brady Grey has signed on...not sure how long for, but believe an announcement is coming soon. Not earth shattering info, but I'm happy nonetheless.

And fair enough too. We've got a few to go out and we could do worse than hold on to him. Before his shoulder stuff up which then just became an ongoing problem, he was doing a solid job for us really. A bit of an enforcer fwd of centre who runs hard and has worked out how to kick a goal - I'm happy enough with him.

1 or so years to see if he gets over his injuries and to help cover for other injury prone players such as Balla, Bennell and Matera (if he comes) seems a no brainer for mine.

There will be a minimum of 8 changes to our list this year.
I remember when someone told me 10 delistings, tradings, and retirements was too much.

Unfortunately I can see 3-5 young guys getting cut.

Ballantyne and Johnson should have been the first against the wall. Johnson less so but eh, feels a bit lingering. Would rather cut them and Spurr and keep on an untested young player.

Actually, you wanted to get rid of 18 players, which is too much.

Zac Clarke, J Griff, Deluca, Ubergang & Sam Collins delisted.
Clarke and Griff I can understand. Means that were likely to pinch someone like spencer or tippet.

Deluca was stiff, I reckon he should of got another year. Collins is unlucky too, he too should of been kept for another year as depth.

That's Dawson, Ibbo, Yarran, Zac Clarke, J Griff, Deluca, Ubergang & Sam Collins delisted/retired. 8 in total thus far.

The only one i'm a little upset about is Collins - his on field performance always seemed better than he was getting credit for selection wise. I guess there are behind the scenes dynamics that we don't get visibility on.

With both Clarke and Griffin gone, I assume we're going to draft in or trade in another specialist ruck?

If Collins is indeed a mistake then it will be apparent when another club picks him up. I am not sure that will happen but I hope it does for his sake.

I was more disappointed for Deluca :( Thought he showed a bit in his couple of games.

Don't mind Sherro as depth. Think he will have to improve in 2018 to get a contract in 2019 though.

Haven't minded Sherro as much when he plays up the field a bit. Right now he doesn't get close to look in at our best 22 anyway.
