We've all known about this stuff for a while. What is interesting is why any club would be interested in him now. Clearly he won't be getting that long term lucrative contract from anyone, and that is what he is desperate for. Everyone is getting hung up on his trade worth but this is small potatoes in the bigger picture - he needs to get his shit together in life otherwise it will be all over before his 25th birthday.

No. It's his money unfortunately. You would hope that in a saner moment it gets locked into investment trusts rather than being available, but addicts don't always have the saner moments, or find ways around that. But his manager works for him, so he does have to do what he says.
