What if a team scores seven behinds before the other team scores a goal? Your new premiers actually lost the game by a point. I presume that is the reason they didn't opt for golden goal.

They could take out the behinds during golden goal and instead of giving the ball to the opposition team to restart the play, they should do a center bounce in the forward 50 where the behind/rush was kicked
