The thread I posted in, I'm assuming you are saying this thread, should be the one the horse pollution is in. If it has to be on the main board.
That's the issue, there is a thread for stupid non Pie things. Here it is.
All others, by the mods own rules, are moved to the nest.
And if your also citing the SSM thread, well that is certainly Collingwood related. Look at the opening post.
Is CFC ever decide to "educate" us to back a particular horse, then a thread would be justified.

Main board is for footy. There is a now a footy thread on the main board for horse talk. Or take it too the nest.

How about the word association
How about the freeman thread
There are some exceptions. Personally I don't give a rats clacker for horse racing, therefore I don't use the thread. Quite simple.
I know I wouldn't want it to become the norm that all sorts of topics were on the main board but the odd exception (and it is spring carnival time) isn't really a big deal.
