It now needs to be asked whether Tyrone Vickery would be regretting his decision to leave Richmond.

He could have stayed at Richmond and been part of a historic premiership, instead he opted to leave the club for more money and is now plying his trade at Box Hill.

Do you think that Vickery is regretting his decision?

His timing leaving Richmond has been Ablett-esque.

Might as well ask if some third rate player Hawthorn delisted at the end of 2012 has any regrets.

Deledio (as much as I still love him) and Vickery would not get a gig in our current side anyway.

If Deledio can regain fitness and have a good pre-season he can still get that flag he wants.

Vickery has a LOT of improving to do and he's 27 years old.
Deledio came in to GWS' team at about the same time as Townsend came in to Richmond's side and kept his spot. Had both been available to Richmond I think Deledio gets picked and holds his spot the whole way through.

Griffiths and Vickery could've spilt the 2nd ruck/forward job all year if the Tigers never pulled the trigger on making Grigg the 2nd ruck.

But if that was the case there's about 1000 over hypotheticals you could worry about.

Neither lids or Vickery would have got a game in the finals.

Agree with this. Vickery never had the tank, and Lids didn't have the fitness this year. They wouldn't have been able to do their jobs in September.

Mock him all you like, but Jake King was the prototype for the new, successful Richmond.
