Not sure the correct thread for this, but does anyone know the story with Daniel De Silva? Highly regarded at Perth, gets bought by Roma, goes out on loan, obviously doesn’t impress and now at Central Coast. Anyone know anything more?

Played in the Dutch League for Roda JC last season, started regularly. He was sold by Roma for an undisclosed fee.
Perhaps didn't like or feel accompanied in the team. New beginnings, who knows.
Possibly went to Italy too young, too soon.

Matt Ryan had a brilliant game for Brighton and Hove overnight, keeping West Ham at bay and picked up a valuable clean sheet in a 3-0 away win. He now has 3 clean sheets in 9 EPL games this season, with Brighton in 10th place on 11 points.

He struggled early doors but caught a bit of the game and he was very good.

Aaron Mooy has shown why he's Australia's best overseas player right now. He scored the first goal against Manhester United. Great finish and helped Huddersfield be the first team this season to beat Man United, securing a 2-1 victory.

Well done to Aaron, surely Ange would take noticed and perhaps, start him ;)

He keeps doing that and Huddersfield won't be his home ground for long

Surprised Craig Goodwin can't get a look in for the Aussie squad.

Been great for Rotterdam, would be at least a nice option off the bench.
Even starting.. as a left wing back, which we clearly have struggled with. Brad Smith - no. Behich is too small. Give Goodwin a go, and I'm sure he ll take the chance with both hands

Excellent Saturday for the two Aussies in the EPL. First Matt Ryan earned another clean sheet for Brighton, playing the full game as the Seagulls impressive run of form continues, winning 1-0 away against Swansea. The result puts Brighton on 15 points in 8th spot. Aaron Mooy also played the full game for Huddersfield, winning 1-0 against WBA. The terriers are also in an impressive run of form, now in 10th spot with 15 points.

Another game, another clean sheet for Matty Ryan. A 0-0 draw for Brighton against Crystal Palace, backed up against a narrow 1-0 loss away to Manchester United. He's really getting into the league now, after a shaky start. Has 5 clean sheets over 14 games for Brighton in the EPL

Great night for both our Aussies in the EPL. Huddersfield, and Mooy, punished Watford's 10 men, winning 4-1 and picking up another valuable 3 points. The win moves them to 11th and 6 points clear of the relegation zone. Mooy scored a double and picked up man of the match honours, scoring a goal in either half. He also played the full 90 minutes.

Meanwhile Matt Ryan earned his 6th clean sheet of the season, grabbing a 0-0 draw against an impressive Burnley, who are surprisingly 5th. Though Brighton could've had won the game, with Murray unable to convert their first half penalty. Brighton sit perilously close to the relegation zone, only 3 points clear of 18th place Newcastle.
