Here we go. Remember Paul Roos as a player if you were around, he was the complete opposite as a coach. For a bloke touted for his footy IQ, Jonson did some dumb, dumb stuff on the field. Playing on, kicking snaps when drop-punts will do, squeezing impossible handballs, showboating and getting chased down.
He thrived due to freakish natural talent and instinct. Not sure how teachable those attributes are.
Kirk has been an assistant coach for the last 5 years he is far from inexperienced - New GC Head Coach Stuey Dew has only been an assistant coach for 7 years so fairly comparable. Rhyce Shaw has shown some pedigree over past couple of years so he is not a complete novice at the coaching game. Stevie J is widely regarded as an amazing football brain and in my mind is no different from say a Top 3 draft pick like Heeney being selected to debut in Rd 1 straight up.They will get some with experience in
Besides blaky it's a very inexperienced coaching panel and besides SJ not much new ideas

Sure it would be preferable if they replace Dew with someone with some experience but its not the end of the world if they don't, I actually like the balance of the group and their assigned roles.
I think your overstating the lack of experience based on your perception that you don't think Horse is the right man for the top job.
Kirk 3 years AC at Freo and 2 years Swans is 5 yearsKirk hasn't been an assistant for 5years let along a senior assistant
Dew has been an assistant for longer than 7 years
Was Kirk at freo for 3 ?Kirk 3 years AC at Freo and 2 years Swans is 5 years
Dew was DC in 2010, promoted to AC in 2011 which is 7 years mate
Was Kirk at freo for 3 ?
Isn't dew going into his 9th?
Like who, who's available? Your back to 'bring in new ideas' your continued gripe against Horse. If the experienced Dew, who was someone who Horse openly rated highly couldn't get his new ideas across I'm not sure why you would think this so called gun SENIOR assistant will ...Dew by far has had more experience epically in his roles
Hopefully we can get a gun SENIOR assistant in to bring new ideas in
Dew has had some fairly good cattle to work with & managed to get a bit out of them & while I guess Kirk had Fyfe & Neale, I think Kirky will be able to extract something extra from some of our midfield.Like who, who's available? Also for someone who is so experienced in his roles, Dew was in charge of stoppages this season an area which with the exception of JPK was widely critiqued on this board as area we were poor at this season - experience does not necessarily translate into success.
Hahahahaha...like the club is going to listen to you!i don't want the scumbag anywhere near the place. harley can go get also if he wants to start giving his old team mates jobs at the swans.

F*ck no! You seen what coaching does to people?! They get old quickly & go cray cray... No thanks.cox is a good get but johnson is a good for nothing fool... might as well get a couple of the old campaigners on this board to be an assistant coach.
