Tex's thumb has had ligament damage for much of the season I believe. Had massive amounts of tape on it. Can't remember when he started wearing it.

Even though he has a Twitter blue tick I would most definitely count McClure as an opposition supporter! Hates our guts.
Would there be any pressure for the coaches change Levers votes given the circumstances ?
Honestly, I would find that SO hard to believe! You are essentially going back 25 games and re-doing things. If you are going to change the votes then you are better off changing them so that he ends up in top 3. That way you its a little negotiation avenue where you say to Melbourne that he finished top 3 in a team that played off in a GF so pay up.
Media are just a bunch of *******s looking at anything to theorise about. Frankly we have much more pressing things to deal with than to change votes for a player.

M Crouch. Sloane. Laird. Jacobs. Douglas. Walker. Lynch. B Crouch. Smith. Betts.
All considered to be very good players, all had good seasons, all talked up by people during the year and more at some stages than another.
Lever also missed a number of games and had some down periods, especially later in the year.
They forget how far down our list our good players go? Or just looking for more mud to sling?
It's the latter.

IMHO, top 5 is spot on. Maybe the next 5 you could argue the order but top 10 overall cannot be argued by anyone who has watched us play religiously this year.
