Nah, I'd keep Doedee. I think you will be pleasantly surprised next year.
But I'd also go for Francis.
He played well on Tex when he got Brownlow votes
The guy can play anywhere that's just an opportunity missed and a south Australian one at that

They aren't going to trade in Francis and leave a 2 year contracted Doedee in the reserves. Nor will they trade out Doedee.

The only thing with getting Francis, is that only two of him, Doedee and Kelly can really fit into the side (unless Francis plays forward, which I doubt).
Who misses out long-term?
That's maybe why we don't go for Francis.
Facts are Doedee and Francis are after the same position third man up intercept what I have seen of Francis his leg is very very good but not super quick the opposite could be said of Doedee poor disposal but plenty quick
Francis in football ability is very very good but needs to train harder Doedee is a beast on the track but lacks football pedigree

I see Francis as Ottens heir. Very versatile forward and back. Very good verticle so might even push for Jenkins spot if he delivers on talent.

Doedee has shown a hell of a lot more than Francis, without even playing a game. Francis has talent but I'd rather have Doedee at half back.
Come on you've seen Francis and how he moves he is a footballer Doedee trains and try's hard but is a basketballer playing footy

All only want Francis because of where he was picked up in the draft. He seems like he could turn out to be a real dud. Definitely worth the risk though for a second rounder
