Was he a bench player for the Texans? What position will he fill in Seattle?
Starting RT. He was the one who held out. Will Seattle finally value OL and pay him what he wants.

Texans get Lane and a 2018 5th & 2019 2nd round pick.

Starting right tackle for the Texans. Will start either there or at LT for the Seahawks

Jimmy G to the 9ers for a 2nd round pick. Wow talk about regret. Didnt some teams were offer the Pats 1st round picks before the draft
Well done 49ers. Why couldn't the Patriots make that trade before the season though? Selfish pricks

Brown has been playing Left Tackle, and did so on Sunday. Lane has a big contract atm for a dude that has slipped down the depth chart to 4th/5th. So getting rid of him is nice cap relief. A good quality LT for a 2nd round pick in 2019 for a team in WIN NOW mode is a good trade in my opinion.

Lane doesnt have a huge contract. $7.2M a year.
Not a free agent till 2020

Its not really a huge contract, Seattle just wanted to move him on, and tried in the preseason.

If he was a starter, sure. I said for a dude that has slipped down the depth chart. He's barely on the field now that Griffin has taken the left side and Coleman has performed well as the Nickle. Shead is also coming back from injury. 7.2 mill for a special teamer is a big contract.

Brown is an excellent LT and been the Texans best OL last 9 years. Quad and knee injuries last two years have slowed him down but he’ll be a huge get for the Hawks. Wilson’s value just went up and their running game will improve.

Has two years to run on contract but was a holdout who cost himself $3-4m. Only played his first game on the weekend.

Imagine he’ll seek an upgrade if he hasn’t already agreed to one.

We have played like a pack of *s at home this year, having said that, if we can't beat the Falcons who are on the road for the 3rd consecutive game this week ill be very disappointed.

If we have any playoff aspirations this year its another must win division game again this week.
