Continued from Part 1.

OP retained from Part 1:

A few (read most) of us have had enough of that tripanel thing and the tablecloth with an Eagle on it. Both do not identify with the basis of the club and were more than likely the lovechild of some marketing guru back in 1999.

In short, we want to do something to try and make this known to the club. We've tried a facebook group but I think we need to take it one step further. Ultimately, the prospects of success are low, but it beats sitting back and doing nothing.

It would certainly bring the meaning back to 'having pride in the jumper'. This thread isn't a discussion about which guernsey is better, it is for legitimate discussion on how best to get this message through to the club and how we can achieve that. I think most Eagles supporters would love to see the guys running around in that famous jumper each and every week.

E92_ will be along shortly with that graphic (as I'm too lazy to link it). For now, though, here is a draft letter that could be a basis for some united communication - linky!
Cheers!

Channel 7 just announced the Navy is gone, going back to Royal and Yellow jumpers. No mention of a white jumper.

Said possible new logo to be unveiled this afternoon. No mention of manufacture change
SWEET!!

When/where did they announce that?

Either way, time to get hype.

No white? That'd be huuuuuuge!
I hope there is no white, but them not mentioning doesnt rule it out. The big new is changing home/away jumper / no navy.

White would be a secondary part of the announcement. But fingers crossed. We all know we dont need it.

Freo style Home / Away will do the job - and wear the home when the away clashes (aka royal v Hawks)
or
Richmond style Home / Clash - wear royal all the time, and yellow just when there is a clash

Home / Clash is my preference. Either way we only need 2 jumpers.

It's a royal/yellow and a reverse

I know. But there's 2 ways to use it - Home/ Clash or Home / Away. Different clubs use their jumpers different ways.

Royal home, yellow away, white clash.

New logo, ISC manufacturing. Remember you all heard it here first ;)
