Should the EDFL show what clubs spent on players once the season is over?
NO as it’s no one’s business other than the club itself. As long as they are under the cap it’s fine..
Wouldn't it get published in their annual reports at the AGM.
Come on Turbo, I thought you would of been for it. Would certainly stop all the gossip
I read Jesse Morano off to the country for good bucks!
Wouldn't be the first player to do it and I'm sure he won't be the last...long way to go for a game of footy.
How is it no ones business when there is a salary cap in place? Surely the hierarchy at the edfl Know what's being spent??NO as it’s no one’s business other than the club itself. As long as they are under the cap it’s fine..
It could be on the cards. I would think APW would be going after boys aged 18 to 20 that have the ability to play senior's. If so I wouldn't even play those boys in the 19's or reserves.Young Ntalianis signed at airport west, great pick up by Geoff Maddern! Has coached him at Douttas before I do wonder if others that age from Douttas will follow.....
Every club needs to submit its final spend by Oct 31. This document is signed by President and Footy Manager or Secretary. Its then uploaded into each clubs sharepoint portal. So yes any EDFL big knob who has access to the portal will no everyones business that is a 100% fact. Whether the info in the spreadsheets are 100% honest and correct is a job for the EDFL hierarchy to manage and work out.How is it no ones business when there is a salary cap in place? Looks like the same names have be raised as fact plus Rohan Nayna could also be back.Rumour out of Greenvale couple of club legends heading back
- Dean Smith a year overseas is heading back to the hanger. Apparently the year off is just what the body needed & is ready to take off again.
-James Rohan a year off in the bush winning a B & F at his new club is also heading home.
Could these two be the experience the jets need to get them over the line this year.
I very much doubt it but good to see them back
Smith hasn’t played premier for nearly 3 years. Rohan was a brilliant captain and legend of the club but doubt they will play seniors.Rumour out of Greenvale couple of club legends heading back

Is it true another legend in Paul Lenne returning to the club.
2nds side will only get stronger with those 3 returning.
Maybe they’ll be pulling on the jumper for their super rules side next year.

All 3 are older players and I doubt this will be any difference to the team to play seniors as it would disappoint the younger players missing on a spot.
Also, older bodies can't take the prolonged season battle which is why Greenvale lost so badly in the grand final....They need to find the 10 goals they lost by. My aswell also bring back Campisano.
Where has Blackwell gone Planks?Must admit from the outset that I only witnessed Greenvale and Aberfeldie in the two finals but doubt there is a 10 goal gap between them. Greenvale were absolutely slaughtered by the umpires in the second semi and also lost Dempsey at half time and DeLuca at quarter time and only went down by a couple of goals. I think this is more an indicator than the GF where everything fell apart for Greenvale after the earlier 2 injuries abd the hamstring to Addam Maric in the prelim. 1 or 2 players could be the difference and with Blackwell not playing for Abers I think that swings it back to Greenvales favour.
