Someone who’s ‘in the know’ sent me this today, apparently this is the selection on offer at the stadium.

It could be complete BS but it’s an interesting list.

I know Gauge Roads have a deal with Matso's but the other stuff is that Gauge Roads? I'm just trying to determine if it could be legit with the beers listed above.

If you zoom in it mentions Perth Stadium in fine print at the bottom, its legit. Although its more likely to be the Microbrewery or one of the large hospitality bars than the regular concourse bars.

100% agreed re: concourse bar. No way a Concourse bar would have that many options of beers, and most only serve Schooners, not pots as well.

6000 seats general admission for the new ground.
Have they said the exact figure it cost to reserve a seat there for one game ?
and if not reserved, how much for general admission and taking your chances of getting whatever seat in that area not taken before you enter the ground after playing general admission at the gate ?

Gage Roads as in the name of the company:
Gage Roads is an area in the outer harbour area of Fremantle Harbour in the Indian Ocean offshore from Fremantle, Western Australia.

It incorporates a deep water sea channel as part of its function.[1]

Gage Roads serve as a shipping lane and anchorage for sea traffic heading towards the seaport of Fremantle. Gage Roads was the location of the 1987 America's Cup,

Rottnest Island lies to the west of Gage Roads, Owen Anchorage and Cockburn Sound lie to the south.

Example of the competition in the event space:
THE World Club Challenge is coming to Melbourne for the first time.

Melbourne Storm will fight for the title of the world’s best rugby league team when it hosts Leeds Rhinos at AAMI Park next year.

The NRL premier and the English Super League champion will clash at AAMI Park on Friday February 16.

The deal was done with the help of the Victroria Government, with the announcement expected today.

“The World Club Challenge is right at home in the sporting capital. We can’t wait to get behind our Storm and help make them the world’s best rugby league team,” said John Eren, Victorian minister for tourism and major events.

“It’s yet another coup for the sports capital that will bring more visitors to Victoria — boosting businesses and supporting local jobs.”

We could have had it. First we need a rugby team. Then we need the rugby team to win the NRL. Then we would be a 50/50 chance to host the English side.

Sooooo close. Melbourne with a massive coup.

Of relevance to Perth going forward, there is competition for events, even on like this to be played at a 30k stadium, not Etihad, not the G - clearly you weren't wearing your blinkers.
This thread is about the Stadium.

WTF are you on about. Melbourne hosting Melbourne Storm in a one off match is not the best example. That game was only ever going to be played in 2 cities. Melbourne or Leeds.

Or are you now talking about actual stadium hosting the game. Melbourne kinda has more options as it has more grounds. Options to host a game at a different stadium are vastly different in WA its not even worth compairing.

As for the rest....
New stadium will host Wallabies games.
Heard UFC is coming also.
State of Origin, already locked in.
A League GF. Maybe Perth Stadium could have hosted Victory v Adelaide GF. Would have made as much sense as Storm vs Leeds... But yes, if Glory ever host one I would imagine the new Stadium would host it.
