I don't think Gero will like you insinuating he is in the BC.It’s a team. Gero was a co leader we all seen it that’s what made it beautiful. But now you’re bailing on him.

I’m not. I’m applauding you and pants for embracing a non BC and leading from the front as a trio.I don't think Gero will like you insinuating he is in the BC.
You didn't make finals.**** me. The latest ladder is 7 pages back
I would have found that out sooner if I didn't have to wade through all the tripe. You didn't make finals.
Finally, some statistics! We’ve only got 25% share in the committee.
Deep down you already knew.I would have found that out sooner if I didn't have to wade through all the tripe.
Nobody else but me can see how much irony is in play here.I don’t care if this annoys Hate I really don’t. You’re slating the admin for doing something that benefits his team when that’s not how it happened at all.
No one spotted the error until yesterday afternoon, hate didn’t spot it either. As soon as it was spotted a re-sim was requested while Hate consulted the committee for a precedent on a ruling. One where you apparently were happy to continue.
The simmed games were mine and it’s been concluded as sim program error, have run 3 test games and two re-sims since so yeah it was a glitch. The part I’m taking umbrage at is the last line. It’s false. The re-sim I did without any issues had you being thrashed by 10+ goals, so in fact it’s looked after the bombers who are out on %. You have not been screwed over by the admin trying to look after his club.
All committee members knew prior to the season and the majority didn't give a s**t.Nobody else but me can see how much irony is in play here.
This actually couldn't be scripted any better.
I think you missed my point. All committee members knew prior to the season and the majority didn't give a s**t.
It's been 3 years now so merely a distant memory of a bad decision.
Now the irony is clear. got my vote to join next seasonI think you missed my point.
FR made a song and dance about myself becoming simmer, preferring you for the role.
Why wouldnt he trust you?I think you missed my point.
FR made a song and dance about myself becoming simmer, preferring you for the role.
I don't really care to be honest. Why wouldnt he trust you?
In the time I've been here, I've only seen one clear case for a resim, when Matera92 was named twice. Others have been arguable; some granted, most not.
This was the closest I've seen to another reason to resim -AT FIRST GLANCE.
Once Doctor Gero explained and demonstrated that the text had been compressed into a frantic minute of time, all arguments for the resim became obsolete.
I am of the opinion, and I have expressed this to Hate today, that the SFA Committee board should be visible to all members of the league. Only committee members should be permitted to post in it but this way all players can view how the democratic process works. It might have averted the Warrior meltdown last night.
The Committee should not be a secret society. Want to see how your captain represents you?
No, this is a shocking idea. The committee is in place for a reason and that is to govern and foster the development of the game. Once you add extra people who have an ability to have a say or look at what is being discussed is when things fall down. We saw several seasons ago when I was still captaining that extra people in the committee doesn't work, it was a monumental failure and was quite rightly given the flick.
Personally, the committee needs to have the right mix of people, a group that is prepared to put personal agendas aside, shelve each club's personal interests and also show an ability to work together as a team in order to improve the general state of the competition. This is what we need now in order to improve the general state of the competition as it is fairly clear there are a lot of people who are unhappy with how things are going. It is therefore up to them to start having mature discussions, sharing ideas and being constructive in order to get things done. If you've got people in there pushing their own or their club's interests or if you've got general idiots in there then the committee won't work.
One of the keys to the committee is communication in order to demonstrate transparency within the competition. When a major decision gets made, it needs to be communicated to the public, either through a thread or a media article (rule changes, decisions etc.). Club captains should also be communicating with their leadership groups regularly, informing them of what's going on and having discussions on topics they need to chat about. This can be then be communicated to the remaining players in each team if they so wish.
Adding extra people to the committee or giving access to every member won't work. We don't see everyone privy to committee meetings at amateur sporting clubs nor do we see members given access to their professional sporting clubs board or the general public being able to access government cabinet to view important discussions/decisions. Your captain is your representative and it is up to them to work with the other committee members to look after the game, develop it, ultimately improve it and be willing to communicate with each other but also the leadership groups and the league in general in order to drive the competition forward. If this is adhered to then the committee works fine and there is absolutely no reason to change the way it works.
