AC/DC

Highway To Hell the best album for me - Touch Too Much an absolute gem

TNT I would have second - some absolute classics and some underrated gems, like Can I Sit Next To You Girl and School Days

and Back In Black rounding out the top three - the album that changed AC/DC forever.

I always wondered where AC/DC would be if Bon Scott never died. It's quite easy to spot the transition from rock and roll to hard rock when Brian Johnson came in, and I reckon if Bon remained and they played the same old style rock and roll, AC?DC might have died out like the Stones and The Who did. When the 80's came, rock fans wanted something new, faster and harder. 80's AC/DC went up a level and it worked for the better.

It is a sad day in rock and roll. Malcolm Young was my friend and the heart and soul of AC/DC. I had some of the best times of my life with him on our 1984 European tour. He will be missed and my deepest condolences to his family, bandmates and friends.

had been coming for some time unfortunately, dementia is utterly dreadful

Last I heard just a couple of years ago, he was splitting his time between his new beachfront home and specialist care, and Angus was talking down his problems.
