IMO, we build Fogarty's tank and play him in the Sanfl as a forward/part time mid. If McGovern injuries happen, or Tex, or Lynch, he comes straight in (Assuming Himmelberg for Jenkins).

He will take 4+ years to reach AFL level mid, but ideally Greenwood and D Fog can rotate through the forward line and Midfield over the next 5 years +

Looks literally a bit like sticks kernaghan

Funny you should say that as I was thinking the same thing... takes me all the way back to my childhood down at the bay watching the tigers.. before Carlton bloody took him away from us!.. geez.. that was all the way back in the peter Carey days if I recall!.. f#&kin getting old...

But seriously, probably patty, Tex or sloaney
I'm talking about throwing his weight around ......probably Roo, then Danger ....then Fogarty

Tex isn't physical often enough (not natural) ....and Sloane like Lever just attacks the ball ferociously, but hasn't the body to throw his weight around

I can see Fogarty being our Dusty Martin

Even better? It was Ports pick originally.

Hahahahaha... completely forgot about that... the absolute hammerings we can give the Port sour supporters when Fogarty smashes them in showdowns will be priceless.

Milera takes Cameron role (or HBF) .......no obvious opening, but injuries can change that

Otten though would have got a shock tonight

Nah no way. This bloke is almost the size of TeX (192.9cm), he would start AFL as a third tall at either end, maybe running through the middle VERY briefly.

He comes straight in for an injury to any tall forward other than Jenkins, and if Poholke isn't smashing the door down, Greenwood too.

He is big, yes, but his fitness needs to improve and we have a tall forward line as is unfortunately.

I think all the recent talk about "family reasons" and the Gibbs trade, the Vic clubs are erring caution on our SA lads. Finally the go-home factor has worked in our favour for a change! Good get!

Hopefully Port finishes above Melbourne next year and the go home factor works in our favour again and we land IZAK RANKINE!...

Do we send McGovern back to levers spot and slot the Fog in the forward line?..

Camerons replacement primarily needs to be quick and apply defensive pressure. Darcy looks pretty quick and looks like he can lay a tackle. Was thinking he could do this role while getting a taste for the AFL. Gallucci is probably the best suited player we have. But would like to see Fogarty early next season and dont see why he couldn't be given a go in this role. Maybe I have misjudged his speed though.
