Derek played a few games at VFL level last year. Indigenous lad from Wentworth - Mildura league, and we have him due to Catergory 2 Rookie (stuff I don't know much about). Equal best and fairest in the league (Mildura) as a 17 year old. Smooth running half back with a very good left foot. Very slight but has class.

Because he was standing next to my lad who is 183cm in a game in Sept. Same height or below my lad. Local lad from Mildura so I have seen him play a lot.
