Hmm can't quite place him in the 'dog act' position, nor can I put him in the 'Weinstein' shitstorm.

Everything shows that truth can be manipulated and also that not everything is hidden behind sunnies.. nice dude..

Just watching this space for recalcitrant males who digress and digress badly.

In the Fairfax case Gayle brought the action so had the burden of proof (All be it on Balance of Probabilities ) so the jury found the masseuse effectively lied or made the whole thing up. (Given they had two very conflicting stories). Or was there a mistake/misunderstanding?

Hard to work out what happened especially when the players admitted texting her as well.

The court found that Fairfax acted out of malice in printing accusations they could not substantiate. And given the timing, it's hard to have any sympathy at all for the newspaper.

Free hit, Mr. Gayle.

What message is that? If you think CA is going to change its "Don't be a dick to women" policy you'll be sorely disappointed.

They're doing things like admitting women cricketers to the Hall of Fame ahead of men of far more eminent standing, greats of the game. They've banned Big Bash clubs from signing Gayle ever since, all over a very minor incident. Who knows, maybe even had a hand in the Fairfax hatchet job. In a sense they're following in the footsteps of the AFL, only they seem hellbent on actually adopting feminist agendas.

The family-friendly appeal of the BBL is far more important to its success than any player.

Gayle's obviously talented, but there'll be plenty of sixes hit this summer without him.

It's also not CA's job to help Jamaican cricketers rehabilitate their public image.

Sexual misconduct has only exploded as an issue since CA gave him the final deletion. He won't be back.

Yeah agreed. I've always been a huge fan of his and would love to see him in the big bash - no one better to watch than Gayle, but I wouldn't blame CA for not wanting to go near him in the current environment, given what he was banned for in the first place (not that I agreed with the banning). PR nightmare.
