Bit of a fan of Sun-Tzu there art of war?

"I don't throw darts at a board. I bet on sure things. Read Sun Tzu. The Art of War. Every battle is won before it is ever fought".

Yes a fan of the text, have not seen that film unfortunately. Not sure I will be game enough to take you up on any of your movie recommendations though.

Breaking news! Guilty.

TWO women have been convicted of helping each other carry out the brutal “thrill killing” and callous backyard burial of autistic teenager Aaron Pajich.

Jemma Lilley, 26, and Trudi Lenon, 43, have been on trial for the last five weeks at WA’s Supreme Court accused of fantasising, planning and then executing the murder of the 18 year-old last June, after luring him to the Orelia house they shared.

The jury deliberated for less than three hours before returning the guilty verdicts for both women.

Sounds like I do need a bit of helping out. Don't know what's going on behind scenes here but I was thinking in the Pajich case the two woman were pointing the finger at each other for who did it. Turns out this has a name.

At the trial, the women mounted what is known as "a cut throat defence" where each blamed the other.

The West Australian's legal affairs editor Tim Clarke has seen a lot in his time, but the trial of Jemma Lilley and Trudi Lenon for the murder of Aaron Pajich was shocking even for him. His tweet.

My job has put me in a room as plenty of killers over the years but these two ...@Clarkie1972

Lilley's lover Trudi Lenon (pictured) is also facing murder charges.

Are you in pommyland Dan?

Seems some of the reports call them lovers. From other links posted above

"Lenon told detectives the pair didn't have a sexual relationship."

"It emerged on the first day of the trial, which is now into its third week, that Lenon was for many years a submissive participant in the bondage, discipline and sado-masochism scene, and the 'Corvina' character she assumed had been awakened by Lilley."

Over the past month, the court has heard allegations of how Lilley, a young woman obsessed with knives and serial killers, and Lenon – a mother-of-three with a history as a “submissive” in Perth’s BDSM scene – had built a close relationship, referring to each other by ‘pet names’.

Material from the women’s phones, extracted after they were arrested, also showed the ‘sub/dom’ relationship between the pair through a series of Facebook messages.

Seems complicated to me, calling them lesbians is taking the easy way out.

It wouldn't be the first time a crook lied.

Such a contradiction isn't it. Although lover doesn't appear to be a refinement. Lenon obviously felt it some form of affection. Maybe sufferance is the operative word here? Obviously there appears to be different meaning to the two different people.

I would be distancing myself also from Lilley.

The USA legal definition of love:
"Love is an emotion evidenced by words and acts. Sometimes acts are more important than words. In order to establish its presence or absence a factual statement of some type is necessary.... The basic acts establishing love are kindness, consideration, understanding, patience, sacrifice or sufferance, if necessary, and certain words and physical acts and demonstrations which constitute evidence of affection between the persons involved."

Sexual Act Law and Legal Definition. Sexual act refers to any act of sexual intercourse. It also means penetration however slight by any object into the genital or anal opening of another person's body. Definitions are primarily governed by state criminal laws, which vary by state.

<!---- EOF ---->
Sick evidence emerged during the trial that a twisted dominant-submissive relationship between Lilley and Lenon quickly developed.

Lilley, 26, had been obsessed with murder and serial killers since she was a child, while Lenon, 17 years Lilley’s senior at 43, had been a submissive in Perth’s BDSM scene for years.

Still sticking with "It's complicated". Or even sick and twisted fits as well.

Lenon made it clear there was no sexual relationship (which might fit with your definition) but there was a strong relationship between them and maybe love??!!

John Sharpe who in 2004 killed his wife and child by shooting them in the head with a spear gun while they were sleeping and then dumped their dismembered remains at the rubbish tip. He then went on television and acted as though he was mourning their loss. Very disturbing.

This one still gets me. Can't believe he went and bought the spear he used to kill his daughter whilst she was with him, and whilst her mum was already dead in the house :(

Yes, that was a disgusting one for sure......as soon as we saw the mock tears in the interview, we said he did it. The mind boggles as to how he could so cold bloodedly kill his gorgeous little girl in that manner, a couple of days after shooting the mum too.

Hope he rots in jail.

Janine Balding was just messed up. 15 year olds raping and murdering someone is just ****ed.
And to think that a woman could watch that happen in the car is just beyond me.

Mr cruel was mental but the cops know who he is. He used to work at the Austin hospital in Heidelberg when it was a repatriation place.

Bung siriboon was recent but this is a 13 year old being abducted in broad daylight in peak hour traffic. How does this happen and how can there be no witnesses.

Anita Cobby is sickening and sef Gonzalez murderers are just ****ed

You would think a Kingswood stationwagon would be rare as rocking horse terd #bungSiriboon

He had a large tattoo on the left side of his neck and sleeve style tattoos on both arms.

The male driver is described as caucasian appearance, in his late 30s to early 40s. He was either bald or had light coloured hair.

“We are asking the public to connect the description, the tattoo and the car,’’ Insp Hughes said. #Rowville Rowville

Detectives previously released information on two possible sightings of Bung on the morning of her disappearance, but now claim there was a potentially a third.

While police say they can’t confirm it was Bung, the teen was possibly seen in the front seat of a white station wagon on Napoleon Road in Rowville between 8.45am and 9am the day she disappeared exactly five years ago.

Have always had a suspicion about the stepdad, hope I'm wrong though.....her mum has since gone back to Malaysia (I think it is). Wonder why the stepdad didn't go with her.

The mother took the older daughter with her? Maybe for the child's underlying protection?

I doubt step-dad is involved. Police would have been onto that.

Daylight abduction of a much older child. Surprised the car hasn't turned up.

The car must have been unregistered with stolen number plates. A white Kingswood station wagon would have turned up on a licence database query not being many around.

Back in my Correctional officer days I got to manage some of the worst of the worst,

The Murphy Bros, Travis and Murdoch, Wayne John Glover (the granny killler) he used to make
an awesome cuppa, Peter Schniedes, Garforth, Crump, Baker etc

Without a doubt Ivan Milat was the
most difficult to manage this scum had nothing in his soul I looked into his eyes and just saw darkness.
