#40 Backdrifts
Album: Hail to the Thief
Favourite Line: We´re rotten fruit, we´re damaged goods, what the hell we've got nothing more to lose.
For some reason this song is not really popular with a lot of Radiohead fans, I don't know why. It has amazing drums and great guitar effects. It is one of the songs that contributes to the album's unique style. Certainly a lot better than The Gloaming, it is one of my personal favourites off HTTF.
Good lord
Backdrifts though is just rubbish. One of the worst Radiohead songs ever recorded. t.
Nah it's rubbish, seriously down there with half the s**t on Pablo Honey or Feral.might be just a tad over dramatic there!
Did my top 50 on a Richmond sub forum which got some interesting reactions even more so with no OK Computer songs until 13
My top 10 are as follows
1 Stop Whispering usa vs Pablo Honey
2 Knives Out . Amnesiac
3 There, There . HTTT
4 Planet Telex. The Bends
5 A Wolf at the Door HTTT
6 sulk The Bends
7 Pyramid Song Amnesiac
8 Bangers And Mash In Rainbows
9 Fog HTTT
10 Where I End And You Begin HTTT
Honestly, I didn't even notice I was doing that.. Thanks for the pick up, I'm too lazy to edit them though.
Hail to the Thief minus I Will, We Suck and Backdrifts would be super for mine (belong as b-sides). Personally always dug The Gloaming. Honestly Backdrifts wouldn't come within leagues of my top 50, but that's the charm of these lists, glad it has some fans.
