Tonight's match up, the Thunder (2-4) host the Scorchers (5-1), which means there's probably more Mark Waugh tonight, yipee.

The key for the Thunder is their bowling, which is good enough to restrict the Scorchers to something chaseable/restrict them enough for them to fall short.

Will Ryan Gibson play? The great lower order batsman has had one of the worst BBL seasons by a player in history, surely Jay Lenton can slot in and allow Buttler to focus purely on batting?

Meanwhile the Scorchers' David Willey opening experiment finally paid off the other night, meaning Bosisto or Phillipe are unlikely to slot in tonight.

Squads come out the day before a game. Bolded players are not playing (English are playing a practice od today ) Squads below:

Perth Scorchers 13-player Squad:
Adam Voges ©
Ashton Agar
Cameron Bancroft
Will Bosisto
Tim Bresnan
Hilton Cartwright
Tim David
Mitchell Johnson
Matthew Kelly
Michael Klinger
Haydan Morton
Joel Paris
Ashton Turner

Sydney Thunder squad to play the Perth Scorchers:
Shane Watson (c)
Fawad Ahmed
Callum Ferguson
Andrew Fekete
Chris Green
Jay Lenton
Usman Khawaja
Arjun Nair
Mitch McClenaghan
Kurtis Patterson
Ben Rohrer
Gurinder Sandhu

Would say Bosisto and one of Kelly/Morton won't play for scorchers, Thunder bit harder to pick but doubt Fekete plays. Maybe one of Patterson/Rohrer misses out.

Thunder won the toss, bowling first. Vince not playing!

Scorchers have brought Bosisto in for David, Kelly also playing.
