Welcome, strong debut and as for Lindsay, I put him with Jack Trengove Dom Barry and Trent McKenzie as players who've been shown theI'm really looking forward to seeing Lindsay Thomas go round - a port boy that has come back home. Always thought he was cruelly villified in 2016 - there were plenty of golden haired boys that played for frees as much or more than Thomas without getting the same attention. He definitely had the lynch mob after him and they ended up umpiring him out of the game. A lot of it was racially driven - reminded me of an u15 football trip I went on one time - by the Saturday night the lone black guy in the team had climbed a tree and the rest of the team (and a few neutrals) were pelting the guy with stones. Anyway, I'm glad he has come home, I hope the faithful get right around him, may he feel the love, and may he make us proud.
My dislike of him as a player had nothing to do with him being black and everything to do with his diving. I hope he has changed.I'm really looking forward to seeing Lindsay Thomas go round - a port boy that has come back home. Your u15s trip sounds awful.
As they say he's been umpired out of the game. He's probably suited to aflx but not the real stuff.
Couldn't really give a shit. Probably relief as he sorta stopped me from wanting to attend a few games and didn't like the cultural/media/victim baggage.Hoping?

All in the past and he's your suitcase now. Not a big Watts fan either so will be interesting watching your lot go around.
Fair enough. The joy from his delisting was Sam Power/Shannon Watt/Sam Gibson combined. A true moment in North history.Don't give a shit huh? Move on then

Maybe in Brazilian soccer, but here it is considered cheating and deemed unacceptable, even if you can get away with it.Once again, let me say this:
- Diving is a skill.
um... wow. I really hope for Australia's sake you are of Methuselah vintage..A lot of it was racially driven - reminded me of an u15 football trip I went on one time - by the Saturday night the lone black guy in the team had climbed a tree and the rest of the team (and a few neutrals) were pelting the guy with stones.
Deemed unacceptable yet widely condoned. SeeMaybe in Brazilian soccer, but here it is considered cheating and deemed unacceptable, even if you can get away with it.
a) that wasn't for diving or staging and most of the contact he got to the head was actual contact. He initiates the contact, but it is real.um... wow. I really hope for Australia's sake you are of Methuselah vintage..

a) top 10 all time Brownlow vote winner Joel Selwood
b) our final v WC
I would love nothing more than to agree with you but..
Your are right, and so is pick-pocketing, but it is still not acceptable. Its interesting GremioPower, it appears that diving just doesnt fit into the Aussie psyche. Even in the round football game here, it is hugely frowned upon, and if a player dives, he gets ripped apart as much by his players & supporters. In AFL, it just doesnt fit in at all! It is a tough contact sport, and anyone faking and diving is absolutely vilified, by the oppo, his own, and in the media.Once again, let me say this:

b) come on, it was an awful tackle and the fact we are moaning about the staging part of it is exactly my point.
spot on couldn't have said it better myself as long as Schuey and Selwood are allowed to get away with it then its fair game "and for the record it pissed me off completely when i see it happen"I’ve said previously on this thread, to be quite honest I couldn’t give a shit how much he dodges, ducks, dips, dives and dodges, as long as it works. In the past I’ve always wanted to see us rise above the bullshit and win with honour, but after one decision in the Geelong game cost us a top 2 spot and one decision in the West Coast game cost us a semi-final against a walking wounded GWS, I don’t care anymore. Just win. I don’t care how. The universe owes us some cheap wins for all the cheap losses we’ve copped over the last few years.
There wouldn’t be a West Coast supporter alive who’s unhappy with the way that Shuey drew that free kick. You do you, Lindsay.
Joel Selwood dives, and screams at the umpire plenty.a) that wasn't for diving or staging and most of the contact he got to the head was actual contact. He initiates the contact, but it is real.
