This was what stood out for me. We were playing a traditional style of footy, looking to set up goals from inside 40, while Melbourne were going for 'zoopers' at every opportunity.

Kennedy was good early on, but the pace of the game doesn't suit him.
Dow will play Round 1 & won't be out of place at AFL level.
LOB kicks bullets. God help the teammate that plays kick to kick with him in the rooms before a game. He is in danger of being severely injured.
Marchbank will need to get the ball into the hands of our better disposers e.g Willo, Simpson, Weiters, Byrne this season.
Pickett is not far off exploding. Bring it on.

Marchbank did it again. Two out of bounds. O’Shea deserves his spot right now in my opinion. He’s not kickingbtheough the ball.

It's never been a strength, for sure.

Got by last year with picking the easy 25-30m option. At this level, he'll need to do that again or dish it off to Willo or Simmo.

Marchbank and jsos really worry me! both are very uninspiring but on the other hand Dow Pickett,Macreadie and Fisher get me excited

Marchbank clearly much better suited to games with a semblance of structure where he can intercept across more fixed contests. Kicking was putrid but he looked cooked and the fatigue wasn't helping in that regard.

Just blowing the cobwebs out, he's clearly better than that.

Don't think the club was too focused on the actual result. AFLX encourages high attacking and high scoring which is what we have sucked at in the rebuild.

Only caught the North game but 68 points in 20 minutes is a nice change for us.

Thought Pickett looked good and nothing stood out as inherently bad but yeah it's AFLX it tells us nothing.

Would of loved to see the best of our players from both games play together in one more game. Some great signs even though we didn't win.
