Only seen Constable's draft highlights so far, but Ainsworth seems a lot more willing to run than him, while Constable seems to doesn't run at all and will dispose of the ball immediately. Then again, maybe they aren't a true representation of how he'll actually play at AFL level.

It’s early days to be comparing draftees. It’s also true we avoid players who can’t kick (with some exceptions) which is why we chose Ainsworth rather than guys like Constable, Worpel and Banfield.

Personally I’m loving these youngesters. Bit sad about Nelson progression but other than that I think we’ve got some unbelievable depth and talent compared to a few years ago. EP should be a strong unit this year

Ainsworth has been playing senior footy for a lot longer than Campaignerstable though.

Charlie Constable looks to have a played a very solid first up game.
Ainsworth v Constable will be very interesting to see how their careers end up.

More upset about Worpel.

Hunter Clark was the messaih but those campaigners got him. I think Worpel was the one we really needed atm. You fit him in our midfield and he will have an impact from day one.


Anus seems like another Parto. Gets talked up as a pure inside midjust after the draft but months later we find out he's an exceptional runner with good contested game but not sure how that will translate at the next level up.

Nelson just doesn't seem like a natural defender whatsoever. Play him on a wing or in the middle or delist, stop faffing around.

I want to see him back as much as anyone, having had an ACL myself it's the most frustrating thing to go through as an athlete.

What I can't stand is the utter bullshit and spin the club has surrounded him with, dangling the NN carrot in front of the fans as a way of driving their financials.

Really?

NN the carrot to bump up memberships. Well that is one reason why he is paid so much, his marketability.

New stadium with an extra 20,000 seats to sell and we are already a financial powerhouse.

The club reported in Nov NN had a clean up operation and then in Feb reported they would build him up, he'd get sore so they backed off, built him up and then backed off, each time improving 5%.

He played 15 min full contact last week.

Now the club is saying they want him for another 4 seasons so they will take the time.

What more do you want? X rays to be published on the web site, his doctor going over the cat scans with us?

Its been reported his knee injury wasnt a straight forward acl.

People are so impatient. If he plays WAFL round 1 so be it. If he takes till round 6 so be it.
