He's been in the rehab group for a large portion of the preseason. If he's returned to full training at all, it'll have been very recently.
I ran into him at the BBQ. He's had a rotten run of it, but he said he's fully fit - ready for selection.

Id go with

B: N Jetta - O Mcdonald - J Lever
HB: J Hunt – S Frost – M Hibberd
C: A Neal Bullen - C Oliver – C Salem
HF: C Petracca – J Hogan – J Melksham
F: J Garlett – T McDonald – M Hannan
Foll: M Gawn – J Viney – N Jones
Int: J Lewis – A Brayshaw – D Tyson – B Fritsch

I think leaving Lever less accountable for a key forward will take advantage of his intercept marking. Also Frost and Lever are both mobile so it doesnt slow us down a lot having 3 talls. Also if Frost can get consistency and confidence in his game he is a real game breaker flying off half back and flattening potential tacklers.

Nearly every player listed can spend time on the ball which will allow us to run other teams off their feet. Also, we now have 6 forwards (plus Fritsch) who are capable of kicking 3 plus goals in a game on their day. Going to be hard to defend!

If we were 100% fit Casey's list looks pretty good too! Building alot of depth!

B: P Mckenna – Casey Full Back – H Petty
HB: J Wagner – D Kielty – J Smith
C: B Stretch – B Vince – T Bugg
HF: D Kent – C Pederson – H Balic
F: T Smith – S Weideman – J Kennedy Harris
Foll: M King– A Vandenberg– J Harmes
Int: D Johnstone – C Maynard – C Spargo – O Baker

If he gets going I definitely don't mind the thought of him in full flight streaming down a wing.

Looks pretty spot on. Maynard stiff not to make emergencies, but geez our depth is good.

Swap Hogan and TMAC, swap Harmes and Jones, and there’s our round one lineup.

Harmes starting in the centre? I would think Trac will be one with first dibs on the ball this year. Trac to the middle, Jones to the wing and Harmes to half forward flank. Trac, Oliver and Viney will be the 'A Team' with Jones, Tyson and Lewis the others doing major stints in the middle.

my best 22

B. Hibberd OMac Jetta
HB. Lewis Lever Hunt
C. Tyson Oliver Salem
HF. Harmes Hogan Melksham
F. Garlett T.Mac Fritsch
R. Gawn Viney Petracca

int. Jones Brayshaw ANB Hannan
em. Bugg Vince Pederson

Vince likely comes in for Viney and Pederson for
T.Mac if he doesn't get up for R1.

who would be the backup ruck here?

The tables have turned, Ablett and Danger are ready to go but we look like losing Tmac and Oliver.

But i don't want to get bogged down in the woe is me attitude, s**t luck for us.....we pushed them last year whilst losing Gawn mid game and not having Hogan or Lewis (if i remember correctly) i always liked Ross Lyon's ethos when the saints were up and running, anytime, anywhere, any place.

Chris Scott couldn't have been less convincing that Danger will play last night on 360.

Coaching staff would be wary of Oliver and TMac sustaining worse injuries and missing games v Brisbane and North which we must wins. I still reckon Oliver gets up. TMac can be missed if we send Petracca to FF

Bring in Pedo for Tmac. Truck to stay predominantly in the guts, particularly with Viney missing

Brayshaw is one I really want to see playing more in the guts. This kid is the bravest one on our list I reckon, was super improved by his movement v St Kilda. I have Brayshaw, Salem, OMc, and ANB all pushing up from decent players in 2017 to outright guns in 2018.
