Two questions for the brains trust:
1. How long does a chocolate mousse take to go off once it's been refrigerated?

2. What things are interesting to do in Adelaide? Spending a few days there during school holidays. Wine's out of the question.

Thanks in advance.

1. No idea give it the sniff test

2.
- Great pubs in Adelaide, just get drunk there and find some nice food, in particular there used to be a pub called The Stag on Rundle St, if that is still around they do great steak from memory.
- if you want a day trip go to Hahndorf or for somewhere closer take a tram to Glenelg and go to the beach
- Go to the casino, it is old school
- Walk around the botanical gardens
- Walk to North Adelaide, check out all the hipster stores etc.
- Adelaide oval has some stuff on http://www.adelaideoval.com.au/ including a St Patty's day thing, could be fun.

Some good national parks/beaches nearby if you have a car

Go off as in spoil or as in set?

Wine, definitely wine. Gets you out of Adelaide too which is a bonus. Or look for the Beaumont’s. too morbid, sorry.

Why no wine?

... THREE DAYS!?!?!?!? You have to be kidding, that's outrageous.

I had a delicious choccy mousse going for well over a week and that was fine aside from the looks my partner gave me that said: "get out of my life you ******* degenerate". It's from an exxy restaurant if that makes a difference?

It's been about three weeks, still smells as good as the day it appeared in my fridge... i just haven't felt like dessert and I don't want to throw it out :(

Why no wine?
I don't particularly like alcohol; I just tolerate it because I like getting hammered. If I'm going to drink something for the flavour, Ill have a delicious can of full strength coke-a-cola, thank you very much. Otherwise beers, spirits and fancy cocktails please!

I've only drunk wine/champagne a handful of times in my life, hangovers were brutal though.

Edit: thanks for all the tips re: Adelaide too :)

Always happy to assist the scientific community.

Tonight's dinner is three week old chocolate mousse. Expect a late night report (unless I'm gravely ill).

Someone broke into my car last night.

They got 30 cents and half a pack of Armorall wipes.

They also cleaned out my car for me, conveniently leaving what little stuff I had in the car on the passenger seat for me to sort through.

There's also no damage to the car itself.

It's kind of the weirdest crime ever.
I once had my VH Commodore stolen in Collingwood. It was totally old and could be started with no key, so no surprises there. Then, two days later I found it - happened to walk past it a couple of kms away from where it was stolen - so jumped in and drove it home. Best bit was it was empty when it was stolen, but I got it back with a full tank of gas and even some shopping in the back. Winrar

One of my best friends from school gets married today. Should be a terrific day but the best man is in hospital still recovering from chemo, stage 4 testicular cancer. I’m not super close with the guy but he is a lovely person and it is going to be hard to enjoy today knowing the s**t he is going through.

Life is too short to waste friends.
