I honestly believe this Tigers team plays pressure footy that no other team can handle when they are on.
No other team is as organised and disciplined, so it's hard to see why b2b will not eventuate, although we saw in 08 that a team that only loses 1 game for the year can still be beaten by a talented team on GF day.
So yes, things have to peak in September again as well.
But the CAN question is clearly a resounding YES.

The pressure they applied to an optimistic Saints team was the prelude to what we saw in September.
Losing in Geelong was a non-issue and gave me no confidence as a Cats fan given no finals are ever played there, and it's too narrow a ground for teams like Richmond.

Add those two with Rance and its a formidable key back trio

Things change really quickly in footy. Collingwood went from premier to unravelling really quickly. They still had guns but their weaker players were exposed and the club soon couldn't win games like they could in 2010 and 2011.

So basically as long as we don’t make Bucks coach we are golden.

I like the tigers again this year. Self belief will be there, I would hate to think how much energy they have burnt over the last 5 years on expecation. They are not a Dogs 16 that came from no where, they made 3 finals the years before 17 (albiet without a win). Have the best player and best defender in league, and some other handy A+ graders (Cotch, Jack)

Add Grigg. Dimma said post GF "On The Couch" edition, Grigg has the smartest footy brain on our list, his organisation of players and his positioning in the ruck at stoppages meant we were rarely beaten. Percentage wise for ruck contested/clearance his was better than Nankervis in the GF
