Am very excited to see Rioli and Ryan playing together. Jake Waterman is going to be our key FWD replacement in the future. I believe in his talents.
He is a little short compared to Kennedy although (191cm vs 196cm)...
What position do we project him as? CHF? FF?
Maybe a Darling replacement.

Final audition time for round one! Looking forward to seeing:
- Cole, who seems to have beaten Nelson & Watson for a spot on half back. Gets to cement it today.
- Ryan, Rioli & Venables, it remains to be seen whether all three will be in the team come rd 1, but Simpson has pledged to play more natural forwards so you'd think at least two will make the cut.
- Waterman & Brander, we need a second key forward to give us structure without Kennedy. I couldn't watch last week so I'm eager to see Brander's presence that other posters alluded to.
- Ainsworth, will there be a place for him with so many other likely debutants. He will likely be the 7th defender/utility if selected so he needs to show the versatility which has eluded so many of our recent young mids.
Hope all these players kill it and give the selectors plenty of headaches.
