Essendon definitely won't be winning the premiership now...

YAAAAY!!!!!!

Fancy picking a side that scores with run off of half back as your flag favourite, when every side in the competition is going to be about forward pressure. What a spud.

I might add that I reckon we'll take Adelaide's spot as highest scoring team whilst maintaining our top 2 defense status (Putting us in CD premiership window). This will be achieved by thumping a few teams and I reckon our biggest win record will get broken at some stage and possibly half a dozen 80+ pt wins to finish with a percentage of >140%.

Never right off Sydney, but they seem to be getting old. Not sure where their improvement is coming from.

It's Sydney, only a matter of time before they find another bunch of randoms to become 200 game premiership players. Heeney and Mills, their two academy picks from a couple of years ago, will provide the top end quality.

Hang on, I’m a bit slow on the uptake here, but how is Robbie still eligible given his suspension for round 1? Is this the AFL saying something like “The JLT games are important enough to have any suspension carry into the season proper rather than the next JLT game, but not important enough to rule someone out of the Brownlow”? The governing of this game is all over the shop.

That is precisely what they have done. It's laughable.

While we are potentially a top 2 side there's no way you can back us to get there based on our poor game plan, negative coaching style plus the mental fragility that has plagued the club for most of our time in the afl, sadly..
