GWS are of the belief Mason Cox should not be suspended for his accidental hit on Howe on Saturday night. GWS have said the incident should be assessed as negligent, rather than intentional as it was assessed, which would result in a fine.

GWS coach Leon Cameron said on Monday "We have a chance to destroy these guys, but the difference between winning by 50 points or 100 points is Mason Cox"

Because he was suspended. Its kind of the entire joke that him being in the team makes Collingwood worse, so GWS would hope that he actually was able to play.
