no structures, no spread and poor ball usage is hurting

then add to that poor finishing for goal decisions have really really hurt

McKenzie has been solid. Houston too slow. Need more run from DBJ.

Gray kicks the goal instead of giving to Polec, we goal instead of letting Essendon run it down and get an easy rebound and then Boak marks that last play from the centre bounce and goals...

Then it’s a 1 goal margin.... pathetic at the moment !!

Disposals . bombers 199 us 177
free kicks 7 them 9 to us
clearances 23 them 22 them
inside 50s 23 them 27 to us
contested possessions 79 to 67 us
tackles 36 them 39 us
hit outs 24 them 19 to us
interchanges 43 them 40 us

As sloppymas we are, they are kissed on prick with the bounce today

The amount of times we halve a contest only for it to spit into the hands of an Essendon player second or third in the queue is maddening.

Even Hurley falling over at the beginning of that Stringer counter-attack began multiple coin flip moments that came up heads.

The most disappointing thing about this performance is that we clearly turned up expecting the same Essendon who got thumped last week.
Nah we didn't. We came out expecting an Essendon who would be fired up ready to take us down - and we got spooked by it. Happens to us all the time, we can't deal with being hunted.
