She left her home at 1am after an arguement.
She cut across the local park and has not been seen since.
Friends and family have door-knocked and passed out posters around the area.
IVETA left her home without taking any belongings including her mobile phone and bank cards."

"Mrs Mitchell left her Parmelia home in 2010 after a fight with her husband and was last seen walking across a nearby park on Meares Avenue. She was reported missing the next day.

Her wedding rings, which Mr Mitchell wears every day, were found on their front door mat a fortnight later.

A search of bushland, a quarry and rubbish tip, where Mr Mitchell used to work, and the couple’s home soon after the disappearance turned up nothing".

Missing mum's rings found on doorstep

LUKE ELIOT, The West AustralianMay 19, 2010

"Wedding and engagement rings belonging to missing Parmelia mother of three Iveta Mitchell have been found on the front doormat of her home.

Mrs Mitchell's husband Chad said last night that he contacted police investigating his wife's disappearance after the discovery, which led forensic experts to search the Meares Avenue home yesterday.

Mr Mitchell said that the discovery both caused him concern and gave him hope that his wife was alive.

He repeated his plea for her or anyone with information to contact police.

Police said their search of the home was a routine part of their inquiries into the 37-year-old's disappearance.

Mrs Mitchell was last seen leaving the family home about 1am on May 3 after an argument with her husband over money.

She was reported missing that day.

The forensic officers and detectives were at the house throughout yesterday afternoon.

Last week, major crime squad detectives said they held concerns for Mrs Mitchell but were not treating the matter as a murder inquiry.

Det-Insp. David Bryson said police were particularly concerned that Mrs Mitchell had not contacted her family on Mother's Day as she was close to her children.

Police also had unconfirmed sightings of Mrs Mitchell, including from a motorist who said he saw her walking on Old Mandurah Road on May 9.

After Mrs Mitchell disappeared, her husband said she went for a walk because she was upset.

"We had a fight and woke our seven-year-old and he was crying so that upset her," he said at the time.

In pleading for help to find his wife, Mr Mitchell said her disappearance was out of character and anyone who might have known where his wife might stay had been contacted.

She did not take her wallet or phone when she left and it was unusual for her to remain out of contact with her family for such a long period.

SES volunteers searched bush near Mrs Mitchell's home while family and friends have put up posters from Perth to Pinjarra seeking the public's help.

Mrs Mitchell is 165cm tall with a slim build, brown shoulder-length hair with light streaks, brown eyes and an olive complexion. She has a tattoo of a tiger on the left-hand side of her back."

Iveta Mitchells wedding rings rocked back up on his doorstep.
Gee, did he hock them the first week?

There's apparently been 2 other women go missing in the same area who look similar to Helen - the most recent was about a year ago. Her name is Iveta Mitchell

https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/missing-perth-mother-helen-rocha.1038455/

Helen Rocha was found in a backyard of Parmelia house buried as per video link.

Rocha? Parmelia

"drug deal - this is probably why it had little publicity"

The perpetrator who killed Rocha might be involved ?

So many paralells in the crime but Im not implying they are connected Metic.

I havent even checked if Rocha's murderer had been put in jail before Ivetas disappearance.

Iveta had argument and went for a walk. A walk where...

Maybe similar scenario

Parmelia + drugs

I find it hard to believe that Iveta would have been attacked when she went over the park. If anyone had attacked her, she would have made a lot of noise as she defended herself. She has a black belt in Judo and Tai Kwan Do. So anyone who attacked her may have come off second best and she would have made enough noise to wake others around the park.
For this reason, I believe she would be attacked while she was sleeping or something similar by a person who knows about her martial skills. Her husband could have waited until she was asleep and then strangled her in her bed. She was a small person and would not have any chance to use her skills with him on top of her. Then he could have taken her to the ensuite in the bedroom, dismembered her and put the parts into rubbish bags. There would be very little to clean up since there would be no blood sprays. He would keep the bags in the bedroom while he got the kids ready for school and then, once they were gone, toss the bags of remains into the rubbish bin on the verge. Wait for the garbage truck to empty the bins and then report her missing. He had some Hydrochloric acid for his pool, so he could pour that into the ensuite drains to clean any tissue or blood that may be trapped. Then wash the acid away with lots of water.

He'd have needed quite a bit of hydrochloric pool acid if he wanted to dissolve human tissue. You can dip your hand into pool acid and come away unharmed or maybe have a small itch at worst. The real problem is pouring it into drains or on concrete where it'll give off a disgusting chemical stench.

The husband of missing Perth woman Iveta Mitchell will be among dozens of witnesses asked to give evidence at a Coroner’s inquest this week, which will attempt to shed new light on the baffling 12-year mystery.
The West Australian can reveal Chad Mitchell is among the many proposed witnesses listed to give evidence at the three-day Coroner’s court hearing which will closely examine his wife’s yet-to-be-solved disappearance in 2010.
The inquest — set to begin on Tuesday — is also expected to hear from police officers who have worked on the case and some of Mrs Mitchell’s three children.

Mr Mitchell has always denied any involvement in his wife’s disappearance.
She was last seen leaving their Parmelia home early on May 3, 2010.

Mrs Mitchell’s youngest son Kyle — who was just seven-years-old when his mum went missing — told The West Australian this week he hoped the inquest would finally find out the truth about where his mother is.

“I’m hoping that the three-day session will at least bring some closure towards myself as well as everyone within the family,” Kyle, now aged 20, told The West.

“(The) best possible outcome in my eyes would be the case being closed within reason of a decision being made, but I don’t wish for the case to be closed as an easy option.

The truth being the result would be best possible outcome. Whether it be hard to hear or not.
Kyle Mitchell

The 20-year-old said he was unsure at this stage if he personally would be asked to make a statement at the inquest.

“If on the day, I’m asked if I would like to say some things, I don’t think I (will) shy away from it but I’m not too sure to be honest,” he said.

The case of Iveta Mitchell is arguably one of WA’s most puzzling missing person cases in recent memory.

Aged 37 at the time that she went missing, the mother of three was last seen leaving her Parmelia home in the early hours after an apparent argument with her husband.

After she was reported missing police searched the family’s Meares Avenue backyard, nearby bushland, a rubbish tip and a quarry where Mr Mitchell used to work.

Two weeks after Mrs Mitchell vanished, her wedding and engagement rings were found on the front doormat of her house by her husband.

SES volunteers also spent hours combing bush at Kwinana beach but found nothing.

Police also dug up the family’s front yard but no sign of the mother of three has ever been found.

Five months after Mrs Mitchell went missing, police said they were convinced they were dealing with a possible homicide — a move described by Mr Mitchell’s lawyer at the time as a publicity stunt.

“This is a result of an extensive investigation which now leads us to believe Iveta has met with foul play,” Det.-Sgt Paul Robinson said at the time.

Last year The West Australian revealed the cold case had been transferred from the homicide squad to the special crime squad — the unit which investigates long-term suspected homicide and suspicious disappearance cases.

At the time, Kyle said he was convinced his mum’s case could be solved through new technology.

“I would personally like to have the case opened back up for a full re-investigation,” Mr Mitchell, then 18, said.

It just seems baffling to me and also somewhat heart-breaking that a Coroner’s inquest into the disappearance of a 22-year-old woman could be wrapped up in just a day-and-a-half.

“I am still hopeful it can be solved, especially with today’s technology when you are seeing 40-year-old cases being solved to this day.”

In 2018 Chad Mitchell broke years of silence to call for a fresh investigation into his wife’s disappearance.

“We looked into every avenue and we just don’t know anymore,” he said.

“If she’s gone, we just want to say goodbye . . . we just want closure.

“We just want to know either way.”

Yes the inquest is Thursday. Last time I worked on her location was in 2012. I went to some house ruins in Johnston Rd. It was pretty wet ground. I found a pile of ladies clothes & a pair or 2 shoes. About a size 6 or 7.
What are your thoughts about her disappearance? and what led you to this house? If you dont mind answering.

I definitely think the bf did it. She won't be far from Parmelia. He might have dumped some of her clothes at the spot. Interesting the bf worked in a quarry. There are three about in the area. I wonder if they have been searched.
