What about this bloke's game? Can play, keep or what? Was the kick-starter in the first quarter. Oh boy, wow wee!
Didn't follow the typical Carlton mantra of going to ground enough, delist.

Listening to SEN last night and heard them mention that Judd thought Dow was the best recruit he has seen in his time involved with the Blues.

This is the same Chris Judd that publicly backed Tutt to forge an AFL career?

He has his strengths as both a footballer and a board member Chris, but he's not much for objectivity at the individual level.

Dow will be a top 5 mid for us, and anything else is a bonus.

In the AFL?

Yep, then I agree. Great vision and poise in traffic

In the team. Anything else is a bonus.

Long-term: our 2nd best inside midfielder (after Cripps) and I expect that he'll have multiple years as a top 10 contested possession and clearance player in the league.

Not sure how good his outside game will get, but he's already averaging 8 contested possessions and 3 clearances a game.

Kids going to be our most important midfielder outside of Cripps. He will be a better player than Murphy imho.

How will he be better than murph?

lost the rs when that dog copeland smashed him into the ground and wrecked his shoulder in his first year - then dangerfield broke I think his collarbone and he missed another half a season then the clumsy oaf - this time in different colours - stood on his ankle and he missed another chunk of games - all up he must have missed a couple of seasons with major injuries

Hmm not sure about that yet

Murph is pretty damn courageous and versatile
There was a time when Murph was more courageous but that has long gone, for varying reasons. All I see is fear in his eyes nowadays.

As far as Dow goes, the kid is fearless.
And I reckon it will stay that way throughout his career... in the same way it has for Joel Selwood.
