Jumped on a few teams last week that had good lines but might wait until team selections for other games.

Hawks +5.5 - I don't like betting against Syd after a loss but it seems doubtful that Buddy and Hannebery play so like the Hawks with the better team at the MCG.

Ade -1.5 - seemed a bit of a gift at the time. Ade clearly the better team in superior form. Expect Tex, Sloane and Knight to play although SPP and Rockliff should return.

I think this is a season defining game for Ess. They actually have a decent squad out of form and expect them to rebound hard. Might be a bit tricky backing Ess though with the line 20+ especially if Murphy, Marchbank and Curnow return and it rains significantly.

Melb +21.5 - if Viney returns Melb will be at full strength. Have covered against the weaker teams well so they should be too strong for GC.

If Bris can maintain the same intensity as last week they would be a good shot here but might depend on whether Bontempelli plays.

With S. Hill in doubt plus B. Hill, Taberner and Walters injured the Saints are a good chance to cover, but tough to pick with no forward line structure and a propensity for kicking points.

Rich -25.5 there's a good chance that NM have a letdown game following there massive win, either that or Rich beat them by +4 goals like they have against better teams than NM. Or they're competitive then get blown out in the 4th quarter. Any of the above will suffice.

Coll +11.5 - they play the MCG much better than Geel and with Menzel, Hawkins, Parfitt and co injured it could be argued that they should be favourites. Ablett is back though which hurts, but I expect Wells to come in and hopefully Reid. If Pendles play I think they should win.

WC +10.5 - GWS get Cameron and Lobb back, but have been terrible. I am expecting Nic Nat to get off at the tribunal. Missing Shuey hurts but WC aren't bad on the road (excluding the MCG). I have no confidence in GWS bouncing back here.

Don't expect Essendon to ever do anything. You're thinking of Essendon -20? Try Carlton -20. Much more likely.

Carlton will come into this game with very high confidence. Even though they've struggled so far this season, they'll go into the game thinking they're a real chance to get their first win because Essendon have been rotten. Also the weather will make it a tight game.

Essendon were shit for like 1 quarter last week. They will put Carlton away with ease

This - yes Essendon look pretty ordinary right now but Carlton are truly horrific and the worst team in the league by a mile.

Essendon were shit for like 1 quarter last week.

No, we were deplorable in one quarter last week, we were shit for the other 3.

Not to mention the three factors that would cause us to lose regardless

- It's going to be raining (certain loss)
- It's against a shit side (certain loss)
- It's against a rival (certain to play like shit and be a close game when it should be a big win to us)

Disagree slightly. They've been smashed a few times this season. But, only lost to Richmond by 26, Collingwood by 24, West Coast by 10 and Dogs by 21 all in dry conditions. Truly horrific is an overreaction.

Richmond game - kicked the first 5, lost the rest of the game by 10 goals
Collingwood - you would struggle to see a worse 4 goal defeat - banged on 4 goals in complete junk time in the last quarter
West Coast are god awful at the MCG and kicked something like 6.38
Dogs - have been very ordinary all year and were still 5 goals up 5-10 minutes into the last quarter

We haven't looked like winning a game all year - we are a terrible terrible football team.

This is the classic supporter fade we see every week from Bomber fans here. You led the Hawks at HT and then won the final quarter. It was just the 3rd that went to shit

Probably. Sounds like the kind of hyperbole shit Bombers fans post on here. Similar to the mass free money fade against the Power

Uh, no - the complete opposite. After a truly shit loss the players respond, and Port is a team that we always play well against. Unlike the Bulldogs game that it was a 100% certainty we would lose, that was a 50% chance.

anyone else like the overs for Port v Adelaide? (169.5) - SB
Has gone over this the last 5 times they have played, weather looks to be clear from rain, I see this being a free-flowing game, both teams id say lean more on the 'attacking' side than 'defensive'.

The whole talk of 100% loss and "free money" is ridiculous because no matter how much you think a team is going to lose or win there is always in every single case a possibility that it won't happen regardless of form it's just fact
