Have any of you wondered what "Chained To The Rhythm" would sound like if a band like Twenty One Pilots did it?
Well, imagine no longer. The Chainsmokers' latest single is their attempt at being dark, deep, moody and political.
No, really....
It's got the same "earnest but completely vague and non-specific" social commentary as we saw in CTTR, but it's sung in that moody, staccato, sing-speak-rap style that sounds like a bad Tyler Joseph karaoke rip-off.
Just stick to mindless EDM trash, guys. At least we can enjoy it as dumb fun instead of some misguided token attempt to be all woke and stuff.

Taylor isn't getting any better with this one.
The "my reputation has never been worse" line really irritates me. She seems the be the only one obsessing over her reputation and she ruined it herself.

Garbage, includes chicken noises and the phrase "stupid boy", claims to be about the #metoo movement, and the only thing people have said about it online is that its cultural appropriation because of how she dresses and the cats she had on the shelves.
