He already has imo. I don't think he'll be the coach beyond this year, there's no way he didn't approve the way they'd structured the coaching group. We need to totally clean out the coaches. With the exceptions of probably Harding and Pops.

Unless the people who recontracted him a month ago are sacked he's coaching next year.

This article is pretty damning. If true there's no wonder we sacked him, shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near the strategy/game plan side of things. No wonder the players have looked like they didn't have a clue. Now to appoint Caracella as senior assistant to take over in 2 years (all the while implementing the game plan himself while communicating effectively to everyone).

Without being involved in the day to day, how would you know how each assistant performs within the overall structure? What if the structure, and ergo the leadership, is totally rooted? Are the assistants still to blame for every shortcoming?

Why do Harding and Kelly get a pass? The vibe, or more a touch of recency bias?

If he was behind it then fairplay he had to go, it’s a ****in stupid idea. If it was Woosha’s idea then someone need to tell him to pull his head out of his arse.

It certainly goes a ways to explaining the seeming confusion about any sort of game plan the players have.

Sacking everyone everytime our performance doesn’t meet expectations would certainly complete our transformation into the “new Richmond”. It took them a lot of time and hard work to shed the image of a club that sacked then coach everytime something went awry. I for one do not want to see us go down that route.

Reading that Fox story on how the club was being run, just WTF did they think such a set up was ideal, they have again misused members money, this time on assistants who appear where not even allowed to do what we members are paying them to do, it is a good thing Ms Lo hides over at the blitz because that kind of set up is bull shit.

I’d love (or probably hate) to see how much we’ve spent on coaches since Sheedy left.

For starters, we’ve paid out Knights, Hird and now Neeld for time not at the club.

And we have Woosha on a new two year deal that doesn’t even start for another six months.

I don't think you need to guess that the most junior coach who's been coaching for 2mins, isn't the cause of top down structural issues at the club.
