Townsend (+12) - 73
The Queen of the US Pro Tour. Struggles to do well anywhere else. Just recently won her 3rd FO WC to go with the others she won in 2014 and 2016.

Kvitova wins her 3rd Madrid Open!!

When Petra Kvitova thought she couldn't go on she hit the critical shots to finally edge Kiki Bertens and claim a record third Madrid Open title.

World No.10 Kvitova outlasted Bertens 7-6 (8-6) 4-6 6-3 in a gruelling final decided when the unseeded Dutch player hit a backhand long after nearly three hours.

"Everything that I had in my body, I just tried to put it out, even if it was very, very tough today," Kvitova, who was playing her 11th match in 13 days after also winning the Prague Open last weekend, said.

Kvitova nearly first in the race and no.8 in the rankings, guess we can lock her in for a top 10 finish at worst. Mertens with 3 titles and a Slam SF. Ostapenko's ranking has seemingly already peaked itself out, before the French Open she has to defend.

Yep, can't blame her for that reaction, was a huge f*** up by the umpire/line judge.

Nice win by Dasha, defending fairly big points this week so that result was handy.

Can't blame her?

Are you serious, it was bad line call, there's been a thousand of them as bad in the history of the game.

Smashing up the umpires chair is completely out of line.

Should be a 3 month ban.

I sorry but I don't believe your human (or have played tennis) if you think that reaction is over the top.

Should be a solid fine but nothing more.

Azarenka destroyed by osaka. Another first round loss for stosur.[/QUOTE)
Stosur is cooked, is only playing for the love of the game now she isn't going to be winning anything again. Has she made at least the qtrs of any tournament this year?. If she is struggling on clay you know it's over.
