JOONDALUP FALCONS

After many years of being based out of northern suburbs, the Falcons finally made the move official in 2016, renaming from West Perth to Joondalup - a move met with great protest and anguish from many passionate fans going back to the days of the Cardinals. Despite the move, their deep-seeded rivalry with the Royals has not faded. During the move, the club also "updated" their look with a new wing sash replacing the standard sash, and an inverse guernsey to be worn as a clash. Joondalup boasts some of the top players in the league, including Jack Darling and Mark LeCras up front, with brothers Stephen and Bradley Hill as a midfield tandem. The last premiership for the Falcons came in 2013.
The Garlic Munchers look great. that wing....

CLAREMONT TIGERS

The Tigers, playing out of an upgraded Claremont Showgrounds, boast a line-up featuring players such as Jesse Hogan, Tom Mitchell and the McGovern brothers (Jeremy and Mitch). In the last decade, the club has ditched their navy blue base and moved to using a royal blue base instead, as well as straightening the sash and removing it from the reverse of the guernsey. There was talk of the club merging with the Subiaco Lions in the past few seasons to build a "super club", however with enough empassioned members from both clubs against the move - Claremont remain a standalone club, with their last premiership having been won in 2012.
very much nitpickking but i'd prefer the sash to be thinner. and i also feel the blue is too light - needs to be a few shades darker

Really thought that South Fremantle would have renamed itself the "Fremantle Bulldogs" a team right in the heart of Freo. So I got that one wrong too, let's see how the rest of it goes...

I prefer the sash thicker and the blue lighter. ;)

I think that's why he's included the heritage. ;)

^ this.

The heritage solely exists to “throw a dog a bone” to those who would get annoyed at me changing up the designs.

LEEDERVILLE ROYALS

In 2016 - when West Perth was relocated officially to Joondalup, East Perth met the same fate from the WAFC - being officially relocated to Leederville where the team has based out of for nearly two decades. During that time, the club added a new tertiary colour to their brand - gold. With high-profile sponsorship from Crown and Seven West Media, and with a lack of A-list developmental talent, the club began a reputation of buying top players including Nat Fyfe from Claremont and luring star player Luke Shuey from the VFL - however homegrown talent does include Sam Pepper-Powell and Mitch Duncan. In 2018, the club broke it's 16 year drought to claim the WAFL Premiership.

That's the most sacrilegious thing I've ever seen. I love it! All my East Perth loving rellies from Highgate will be spitting into their curries! :smileycat::smileycat::smileycat:

You know what? Leederville's too specific, why don't we just call them WEST PERTH! And the name "Royals" I mean, really? How about a nice Catholic name to better reflect the area!

I know, WEST PERTH CARDINALS!!!

Oh I'm loving this mate! I can see their faces: :weary::weary::weary:

PERTH DEMONS

In 2009 - the unthinkable happened. The Perth Football Club folded, and along with it, 110 years of history. No more Demons, no more Redlegs... nothing. That is until 2017 - following the relocation of the Falcons and the Royals, there was a glaring hole in the landscape of WA footy, no Perth team. Following years of petitioning, campaigning and finally the backing of investors, the Perth Demons were reborn. Playing out of a downsized and redeveloped WACA Ground, the club is slowly returning to it's glory days including the signing of Lance Franklin, bringing him home to where it all began. The club also has high profile names such as Jaeger O'Meara, Michael Johnson and Sharrod Wellingham on their list, the latter two being former players of the club. The guernseys feature a "split" sash, in the form of two sharp red shapes suggestive of a demon's horns - whilst still maintaining the tradition of the red-on-black sash element.
